dc.descriptionThe purpose of this research work is to contribute to the search for new strategies for the insertion of ICT Information and Communication Technologies tools in the teaching-learning process of mathematics, thus improving the academic performance of students. For this, a connectivity survey was applied to the parents of the Yanahurco Educational Unit, in order to determine the socioeconomic technological level that students have at home and thus be able to determine the appropriate tool that adapts to all the cases found. Through a survey directed to the students and also through observation, it was determined in which subjects the students of the first year of high school have more difficulties in understanding through the traditional method. Once the appropriate tool and the theme to be reinforced had been selected, a pretest and a posttest were applied to the students, determining that the students achieved an improvement in their learning process. Finally, a survey of ten items was applied to the students who participated in the classes incorporating technological tools, about the perception that they had in the new form of teaching that was applied to them. The internal reliability of the instrument was calculated with Cronbach's Alpha, obtaining a value of 0.968, thus indicating that the survey items are totally reliable, therefore it is feasible. The results with a 95% confidence interval had a p value of <0.000001 in the chi square test of the results obtained in the final survey applied to the students. Therefore, the null hypothesis was rejected and the research hypothesis was accepted: "Technological tools DO affect the process of teaching mathematics." Based on the results obtained, teachers are recommended to use technological tools as a support in the teaching-learning process of mathematics.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación tiene como propósito contribuir en la búsqueda de nuevas estrategias para la inserción de herramientas Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación TIC en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de las matemáticas, mejorando así el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes. Para esto, se aplicó una encuesta de conectividad a los padres de Familia de la Unidad Educativa Yanahurco, para poder determinar el nivel socioeconómico tecnológico que poseen los estudiantes en casa y así poder determinar la herramienta adecuada que se adapte a todos los casos encontrados. Mediante una encuesta dirigida a los estudiantes y también a través de la observación se determinó en que temáticas los estudiantes de primero de bachillerato tienen más dificultades en comprender mediante el método tradicional. Una vez seleccionada la herramienta adecuada y la temática a reforzar, se aplicó a los estudiantes un pretest y un posttest determinando que los estudiantes alcanzaron una mejoría en su proceso de aprendizaje. Finalmente, se aplicó una encuesta de diez ítems a los estudiantes que participaron en las clases incorporando herramientas tecnológicas, acerca de la percepción que ellos tuvieron en la nueva forma de enseñanza que se les aplicó. La confiabilidad interna del instrumento fue calculada con el Alfa de Cronbach obteniendo un valor de 0.968 indicando así que los ítems de la encuesta son totalmente confiables por lo tanto es factible. Los resultados con un intervalo de confianza de 95 %, fueron de un valor p de < 0,000001 en la prueba del chi cuadrado de los resultados obtenidos en la encuesta final aplicada a los estudiantes. Por lo tanto, se rechazó la hipótesis nula y se aceptó la hipótesis de investigación: “Las herramientas tecnológicas SI inciden en el proceso de enseñanza de las matemáticas.” Basados en los resultados obtenidos, se recomienda a los Docentes el uso de herramientas tecnológicas como un apoyo en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de las matemáticases_ES
