El disfrute de la melancolía: la “rockola” estéticas musicales ecuatorianas

| dc.description | El presente trabajo de investigación, titulado “EL DISFRUTE DE LA MELANCOLIA: LA “ROCKOLA” ESTETICAS MUSICALES ECUATORIANAS”, parte de una revisión bibliográfica relacionada al tema central, dónde desde el melodrama presente en las industrias culturales como: la literatura, la radio, la televisión, el cine y la música, se busca entender las cotidianidades sociales de la clase popular, pues en América Latina a través del melodrama se construye su historia e identidad cultural, al observar como el discurso del amor ha sido utilizado a modo de estrategia para sensibilizar a las personas frente a aspectos de diferencias de clases sociales y culturales. Trasladando este contexto al Ecuador, se realiza el estudio de la música ecuatoriana, especialmente al género rockolero, para comprender como las elites excluyen a las culturas populares y todos los contenidos producidos y relacionados a ellos, así este estudio basado en la música rockolera, busca entender las formas de vida del pueblo ecuatoriano en base a la actitud melodramática musical y su discurso del amor y la melancolía que engancha mediante narrativas emotivas una serie de contenidos disfrutables y empáticos con las audiencias ecuatorianas. Se utiliza una metodología basada en la elaboración de matrices de análisis de discurso estético y musical presente en el género rockolero desde el apartado melodramático, mismas que, indican información como: características musicales, uso de figuras retoricas, ritmo y tono musical, rima asonante y consonante, formas del lenguaje, intencionalidad del discurso, estructura del discurso musical. Esta tesis se divide en: Capitulo I, marco teórico, encaminado a refutar, defender y contextualizar este estudio desde la valoración de distintos teóricos que dominan y conocen el tema del melodrama y las industrias culturales. Capitulo II, la metodología empleada en este estudio presenta el modelo en que se trabaja y desarrolla esta investigación. Capitulo III, en el apartado de discusión y análisis de los resultados, indica la información que se obtuvo al aplicar la metodología y los conocimientos teóricos a las canciones musicales seleccionadas para este estudio, finalmente. | dc.description.abstract | The present research work, entitled "THE ENJOYMENT OF MELANCOLIA: THE "ROCKOLA" ECUADORIAN MUSICAL AESTHETICS", starts from a bibliographic review related to the central theme, where from the melodrama present in the cultural industries of literature, radio, television, film and music, we seek to understand the social everyday life of the popular class, because in Latin America through the melodrama is built its history and cultural identity, observing how the discourse of love has been used as a strategy to sensitize people at the time of observing the differences in social and cultural classes. Transferring this context to Ecuador, the study of Ecuadorian music is carried out, especially the rock music genre, to understand how the elites exclude popular cultures and all the contents produced and related to them, so this study based on rock music, seeks to understand the ways of life of the Ecuadorian people based on the melodramatic attitude and its discourse of love and melancholy that engages through emotional narratives a series of enjoyable and empathetic contents with Ecuadorian audiences. A methodology based on the elaboration of aesthetic and musical discourse analysis matrices present in the rock and roll genre from the melodramatic section is used, which indicate information such as: musical characteristics, use of rhetorical figures, rhythm and musical tone, assonant and consonant rhyme, language forms, discourse intentionality, structure of the musical discourse. This thesis is divided into: Chapter I, theoretical framework, aimed at refuting, defending and contextualizing this study from the assessment of different theorists who dominate and know the subject of melodrama and cultural industries. Chapter II, the methodology used in this study presents the model in which this research is worked and developed. Chapter III, in the section of discussion and analysis of the results, indicates the information obtained by applying the methodology and theoretical knowledge to the musical songs selected for this study, finally.
