dc.descriptionLa fisioterapia es una profesión de la salud, enfocada a la recuperación y mejora de la función y el movimiento, los profesionales formados durante los últimos años tuviero n que realizar parte de su aprendizaje de manera virtual. Lo que pudo tener un impact o negativo en su desarrollo, por esto el propósito del estudio es conocer como los estudiantes y nuevos graduados perciben su propia capacidad profesional. Para esto se desarrolló una encuesta basada en las competencias de la profesión, los resultados se analizaron estadística y cualitativamente. Se aplicó a 83 participantes, graduados y estudiantes de séptimo y octavo semestre de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Se encontró una valoración positiva de sus capacidades, aunque también una necesid a d mayor de acercamiento práctico a la profesión.es_ES
dc.description.abstractPhysiotherapy is a health care profession, focused on restoring and improving of movement and function, professionals formed during the last years were forced to part of their learning in a virtual manner. Which could have had a negative impact on their developm ent, for this reason, the aim of this study is to know how the students and new graduates perceive their own professional capacity. To accomplish this, a survey based on the competences of the profession was developed, the results were analyz e d statistically and qualitatively. It was applied on 83 participants, graduates and seventh and eight semester students from the Technical University of Ambato. A positive evaluation of their capacities was found. Although they also expressed a need for a greater practical component to the profession.es_ES
