| dc.description | The objective of this case analysis is to study the accounting treatment of sports rights in the financial statements of the soccer sports clubs of Ecuador, the accounting and legal standards that regulate the Clubs in Ecuador were studied, the sports rights. In order to do this, the analysis unit of the Club Sport Emelec and various secondary sources such as the official page of the Club Sport Emelec, social networks, documents, articles and theses were used to examine the relevant information and data, in addition, information gathering forms were used, tables and worksheets. The method used in the investigation was the analysis of information where documents were investigated, the policies, laws, regulations, contracts, regulations, documents, financial reports and sponsorship agreements of the Club were observed. Consequently, it was determined that the sports rights of Club Sport Emelec present a level of complexity in their financial management compared to European countries. Additionally, in the soccer industry accounting is not managed correctly, therefore there are problems with players, managers and clubs. In summary, accounting and sports rights in football is essential for on effective financial management of clubs and to comply with financial regulations and standards established by sports leagues and organizations. A good accounting system contributes to the transparency, sustainability and long-term success of football clubs. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente análisis de caso tiene como objetivo estudiar el tratamiento contable de los derechos deportivos en los estados financieros de los clubs deportivos de futbol de Ecuador, se estudió las normas contables y legales que regula los Clubs de Ecuador, se aplicó, valoró y registró los derechos deportivos. Para esto se utilizó la unidad de análisis del Club Sport Emelec y diversas fuentes secundarias como la página oficial del Club Sport Emelec, las redes sociales, documentos, artículos y tesis para examinar la información y datos relevantes, además se usó fichas de levantamiento de información, tablas y hojas de trabajo. El método empleado en la investigación fue el análisis de información donde se investigó documentos, se observó las políticas, leyes, regulaciones, contratos, normativas, documentos, informes financieros y acuerdos de patrocinio del Club. De esta manera se logró determinar que los derechos deportivos del Club Sport Emelec presentan un nivel de complejidad en su gestión financiera en comparación a los países europeos. Adicionalmente, en la industria del futbol la contabilidad no es manejada de manera correcta por ende existen problemas con jugadores, directivos y clubs. En resumen, la contabilidad y los derechos deportivos en el fútbol es esencial para la gestión financiera efectiva de los clubes y para cumplir con las normativas y estándares financieros establecidos por las ligas y organizaciones deportivas. Un buen sistema contable contribuye a la transparencia, la sostenibilidad y el éxito a largo plazo de los clubes de fútbol. | es_ES |
