dc.descriptionEl presente proyecto se realizó con el objetivo de determinar el nivel de adicción al internet y su relación con el nivel de habilidades sociales en adolescentes. En el caso de la adicción a internet se utiliza la Escala de Adicción al Internet de Lima (EAIL) y para las habilidades sociales la Escala de evaluación de habilidades sociales de Goldstein en una población de 207 adolescentes de 12 a 17 años de edad. La metodología aplicada se basó en un enfoque cuantitativo, pues la información extraída a través de las escalas se comparó mediante la prueba correlacional de Pearson, para obtener la relación correspondiente. Se encontró que las variables adicción a internet y habilidades sociales tienen una relación inversa, es decir que mientras una de las variables aumenta, la otra disminuye y viceversa. Además, se evidenció que los adolescentes de 12 a 14 años de edad presentan niveles altos de adicción a internet.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe present project was carried out with the objective of determining the level of Internet addiction and its relationship with the level of social skills in adolescents. In the case of Internet addiction, the Lima Internet Addiction Scale (EAIL) is used, and for social skills, the Goldstein Social Skills Assessment Scale is used in a population of 207 adolescents between 12 and 17 years of age. The applied methodology was based on a quantitative approach, since the information extracted through the scales was compared using the Pearson correlational test, to obtain the corresponding relationship. It was found that the variables Internet addiction and social skills have an inverse relationship, that is, while one of the variables increases, the other decreases and vice versa. In addition, it was shown that adolescents between 12 and 14 years of age have higher levels of Internet addiction.es_ES
