dc.descriptionThe present investigation refers to how constructivism is present in the learning of mathematics. The constructivist model refers to how a student is responsible for building their own learning either by working as a team, being active in the development of the class and working based on their experience to be able to contribute with new ideas in the classroom. An objective is proposed that seeks to analyze the relationship between the constructivist model and the learning of eighth grade students of Basic General Education of the "Malchinguí" Educational Unit within the area of mathematics with a population of 61 students and 2 students. to whom a survey and an interview were applied to be able to fulfill the aforementioned. The study will have a quantitative approach for students and a qualitative approach for teachers, a bibliographic study to obtain the necessary knowledge to help in the development of the research. The results that the surveys and interviews showed is that there is a clear presence of constructivist classes through teamwork, active participation, feedback, classes that attract the attention of the students and even the realization of projects that promote student responsibility. all this within the classroom due to the adequate adaptation to the learning of the students by the teachers. It is concluded that constructivism is clearly present within the educational institution according to the present evidencees_ES
dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación se refiere a como el constructivismo se hace presente en el aprendizaje de matemáticas. El modelo constructivista hace referencia a como un estudiante se hace responsable al construir su propio aprendizaje ya sea al trabajar en equipo, ser activo en el desarrollo de la clase y trabajar a base de su experiencia para poder aportar con nuevas ideas en el aula. Se plantea un objetivo en el que se busca analizar la relación entre el modelo constructivista y el aprendizaje de los estudiantes de octavo grado de Educación General Básica de la Unidad Educativa “Malchinguí” dentro del área de matemáticas con una población de 61 estudiantes y 2 estudiantes a quienes se les aplicó una encuesta y una entrevista para poder llegar a cumplir lo antes mencionado. El estudio tendrá un enfoque cuantitativo para los estudiantes y cualitativo para los docentes, un estudio bibliográfico para obtener el conocimiento necesario que ayude en el desarrollo de la investigación. Los resultados que las encuestas y entrevistas evidenciaron es que existe de forma clara la presencia de clases constructivistas a través del trabajo en equipo, participación activa, retroalimentación, clases que llaman la atención del alumnado e incluso la realización de proyectos que fomenten la responsabilidad estudiantil, todo esto dentro del aula por la adaptación adecuada al aprendizaje de los estudiantes por parte de los docentes. Se concluye que el constructivismo se hace presente de forma clara dentro de la institución educativa acorde a las evidencias presenteses_ES
