dc.descriptionLa presente investigación titulada “Identificación de helmintos gastrointestinales zoonóticos en primates en cautiverio”, tuvo como objetivo identificar helmintos gastrointestinales zoonóticos en primates en cautiverio del Ecozoológico San Martín de la ciudad de Baños. Se recolectó 21 muestras fecales tomadas directamente del ano de siete especies de primates: Saimiri sciureus, Ateles belzebuth, Callicebus discolor, Cebus capucinos, Cebus albifrons, Lagotrix lagotricha, Ateles fusciceps y se realizó un estudio coproparasitario mediante la técnica de concentración y flotación de Faust; obteniendo del total de animales muestreados el 80,96% negativos a helmintos, mientras que el 19,04% presentaron: huevos de Trichuris spp, Strongiloides spp, y Oxyuroides y también larvas de Strongiloides spp, con un porcentaje de prevalencia del 4,76% por cada hallazgo parasitario.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe present research entitled "Identification of zoonotic gastrointestinal helminths in captive primates", aimed to identify zoonotic gastrointestinal helminths in captive primates of the San Martín Ecozoological in the city of Baños.
