Item Diseño geométrico de la vía Oasis Barranquilla, correspondiente a una longitud de 4.9 km perteneciente a la parroquia El Triunfo, cantón Pastaza, provincia de Pastaza(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2023-02) Castro Ortiz, Jennifer Lisseth; Bayas Altamirano, Myriam MarisolThis project seeks to provide a solution to the need for road communication between two sectors such as the Oasis and Barranquilla communities belonging to the El Triunfo parish of the Pastaza canton, so that it can improve the living conditions of the sectors, contributing to trade and reduce transportation time from one place to another. For the development of the project, the parameters were changed based on the regulations of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works 2003, AASHTO and SUCS. The topographic survey was carried out with the total station, comprising a topographic strip of 30 meters. Through the soil studies that were carried out with pits every 500m, it was obtained that it corresponded to a clayey soil of low and high plasticity according to the AASHTO and SUCS standards, therefore, improvement soil was implemented in a 60cm thick layer to increase the bearing capacity. A manual vehicle count traffic analysis was carried out for seven consecutive days and twelve hours a day, giving a TPDA of 171 vehicles per day for a design period of 20 years, consequently, a type IV collector road was produced with a width of 3.65 m for each lane. According to the soil study, the structural layer of the pavement was obtained, which guarantees the safety and functionality of the road. Finally, the referential budget was made with the necessary items for the construction of the project.
