The present technical and investigative project was carried out in the "Tecnimaquinarias Lalaleo" microenterprise, located in the city of Ambato - Cunchibamba, Panamericana Norte Avenue, exit to Quito, which was carried out with the objective of developing a machine that helps the craftsmen in their footwear manufacturing process, specifically with the gluing of the soles or soles in the shoes by pressure inside a chamber, for this the determination of parameters necessary for the design was made as the temperature of activation of the glues, pressure and time required for gluing. A design was proposed based on a closed chamber with a membrane inside that uniformly wraps the shoe, obtaining a bond on the entire surface of the shoe sole, which implied the calculation and determination of all the structural elements and selection of some materials and constituent elements of the machine. In the start-up and bonding tests, the results of the use of this equipment within the production process were evidenced, reducing times and obtaining a better bonding and giving a better quality to the final product, being this a direct benefit for the artisan producers that perform this task manually.
