    Factores determinantes de elección del consumo de comida típica en los turistas de la Provincia de Tungurahua.

    Tungurahua is a province full of tourist and gastronomic attractions worthy of highlight, each of the 9 municipalities keeps a legacy of tradition and culture that is reflected in the diversity of gastronomy, this is because the determinants of choice of typical food consumption and diversity of agricultural products that are unique to each municipalities. For this reason, the research project has focused on making a broad analysis based on cognitive social theory to know what factors determined the choice of food consumption typical of tourists visiting the province of Tungurahua, this obtaining a qualitative approach to research through the search for information on scientific bases, books and information obtained by tourism institutions. The information obtained through surveys applied to tourists from the 9 municipalities allowed to determine the factors that influence for consumption the food , also the research revealed that social cognitive factors have greater affinity with the consumption of typical food . The research demonstrated statistical results to applying the Euclidea distance model, which groups a set of observations in a given number of elements based on the idea of distance or similarity between observations, and SPSS programs (Valorization of quantitative data from tables of frequencies and correlation the variables), these information allowed to base the determinants of choice of consumption, it was determined that the most influential factors are: technology, climate, habits and customs.
