    Introduction: One strategy to address new learning needs is the use of current digital resources in teaching. In nursing, it can help students develop their skills and competencies through clinical practice in virtual mode. Objective: To analyze the integration of emerging technologies in nursing education and their impact on students' academic and professional training. Methods: To obtain information on the integration of emerging technologies in nursing education, a documentary technique will be used to review articles and scientific publications in various databases such as Google Scholar, Pub Med, Science Direct, Scielo and Dialnet. Results: The analysis of the information obtained is based on the experiences and perceptions of educators through knowledge and experiences on the incorporation of emerging technologies in their teaching practices, as well as their perceptions on the benefits, challenges and limitations associated with this process. Conclusion: The research is based on the education of nursing students, which presents significant challenges for better practice.
