This research addressed the topic titled "The Digital Tangram in the Identification of Basic Geometric Shapes in Children Aged 4 to 5 Years." The main objective of the study was to analyze "The Digital Tangram in the Identification of Basic Geometric Shapes in Children Aged 4 to 5 Years at the Early Childhood Education Unit 'Paraíso del Saber'." A quantitative methodology was applied, using a pre-experimental design with a correlational scope. The study also employed a documentary, bibliographic, and field-based approach with reliable sources. Data collection involved an observation sheet with 8 indicators on a 1-to-3 observation scale, applied during two periods: Pre-test and Post-test. The study population consisted of 20 children. After implementing activities using the digital tangram, the results showed an improvement from 60% in the pre-test to 100% in the posttest. This outcome confirmed the hypothesis using the Wilcoxon coefficient. It was concluded that there is sufficient evidence to reject the null hypothesis (H₀) and accept the alternative hypothesis (H₁), concluding that the digital tangram contributes to the identification of geometric shapes at the Early Childhood Education Unit "Paraíso del Saber."
