Item Estudio de peligro sísmico determinista para las estructuras de La Concepción, parroquia la Península, cantón Ambato, provincia de Tungurahua(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica. Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2018) Tamayo Santafé, Cristian Eduardo; Navarro Peñaherrera, Carlos PatricioIn this research work we proceeded to calculate a Specific Seismic Response Spectrum for a determined area "La Concepción", which was obtained by means of a deterministic analysis. Likewise, the Seismic Response Spectrum was calculated in accordance with the provisions of the NEC-15 and thus make a comparison of the structural behavior of the type structures for the two seismic response Spectra. The analysis of specific spectrum determination was carried out by means of a series of processes and field trials: the field test was the SPT in five different points of the study area, with these results the value of the velocity was obtained shear wave Vs30, all nearby faults that could affect said area were identified and the Moment Magnitude (Mw) was calculated. After all these calculated data were used in the attenuation equations of different authors in order to obtain a spectrum of maximum accelerations (Specific Spectrum). Afterwards, an envelope was created where the maximum accelerations were collected in each period of the specific spectra, this envelope was compared with the spectrum of the NEC-15, resulting in a specific spectrum much lower in relation to the spectrum of the standard. The maximum accelerations in the Specific Spectrum was Sa=1.0784g in a T = 0.25sec but that established by the Standard was Sa=1.19g in a T = 0.15-0.55sec, with these results the comparison was made in the Type Structures with both Periods of Vibration, Static floor drifts, mass accumulation, floor cutting and dynamic floor drifts.
