    Aculturiación de saberes ancestrales y la vulnerabilidad de la dinámica familiar en la etnia indígena Salasaca

    The ancient historical process of our country started about 12,000 years BC. Through this process the first settlers decided to establish themselves in different parts of our territory, at the same time they developed a legacy of ancient cultures, as the time went off these ancient cultures has lost space and value. Due to this problem this research addresses some consequences of the "Acculturation of ancestral knowledge and vulnerability in family dynamic in the Salasaca Indian Ethnicity ". Likewise, the study of the vulnerability of the indigenous family dynamics are addressed, their relatives cultural elements were developed by generations, as adopting other cultures that were violated during some generations, which traditionally have left an important legacy of family unity for society. The purpose of this research is to achieve an answer for this question. What can we do in this context? The possible solution is the creation of a Family Ethnographic Gallery enabling rescue arises, and to show family cultural elements that have transcended during some generations, which will strengthen these values.

    Análisis del discurso de la frase “El Ecuador del encuentro”, pronunciada por Guillermo Lasso en la campaña electoral de la segunda vuelta de las elecciones de 2021

    During the campaign period of the second round of the general elections of 2021 in Ecuador, the then candidate Guillermo Lasso (current president of the Republic) and his political party (Creating Opportunities; CREO) elaborated the phrase "The Ecuadorof the Encounter", making it their main campaign slogan. For this reason, in this academic text the meaning given by Ecuadorians to the phrase in question was analyzed, for this purpose a small virtual ethnography was conducted on the page of the social network Facebook of Guillermo Lasso, in which the criteria of the people issued in the comments with the highest number of reactions, present in the publications where the slogan is mentioned, added to the main criteria of the candidate's campaign team shared in several digital media, were obtained. On the other hand, to meet the objectives set out in this work, bibliographic research was executed,taking as reference two experts in pragmatic discourse analysis, John Austin with the theory of speech acts and Ferdinand de Saussure with the theory of the linguistic sign(signifier and signified). In addition, several academic writings that were previously carried out were taken as a basis for this study, in order to understand the connotation of the phrase and its meaning. With the results obtained, it was possible to reflect divided criteria among citizens, most of them showed attitudes in favor of the candidate, while others took it only as simple demagogy

    Aplicación del artículo 18 de la ley orgánica de comunicación en el ejercicio periodistico ánalisis de caso en las noticias emitidas por diario La Hora de Quito, en el periodo enero a junio 2017

    This thesis was to know if the application of article 18 of the Organic Law of Communication limited the journalistic exercise in the news issued by newspaper La Hora de Quito in the period January 2017 to June 2017. With this premise, after the investigative process, It was concluded that the exercise of social communicators' work was limited. Many media and journalists were sanctioned. To this end, a technical watchdog body was formed, which controlled the exercise of communication rights, marking a before and after in democracy, from there the media was studied not with the desire to know the quality of information they issued but to punish them. Through these practices concepts such as freedom, independence and pluralism were violated, essential elements to promote democracy. This investigation reveals one of the most emblematic cases: that of Diario La Hora, a newspaper that was persecuted and punished on several occasions, due to the fact of publishing uncomfortable information for the shift regime or refusing to do so, in cases that it thought necessary. In addition, it was determined that through the application of article 18 of the LOC the means of communication were persecuted, as proof of this are the fines, calls for attention, replies, among other sanctions that were imposed on the newspaper. From this it is concluded that the application of the law affected the quality of the information contained in the news published by the newspaper La Hora de Quito, because the communicators feared sanctions This restriction of rights was possible to analyze, through the application of a survey to journalists and executives of the newspaper. The technique is contained in the quantitative methodology with which the field research process was formulated.

    La campaña de minga por la vida de la gobernación de Tungurahua y la percepción de los lectores de los periódicos el Heraldo y la Hora del cantón Ambato

    Communication is the main tool that the global community has to share ideas, spread knowledge and express emotions, among the main elements that contribute to this process of message exchange. This must be properly managed for the progress of peoples, despite certain content issued by the media, both radio, print and television, see the process as a mercantilist industry when it comes to inform. When we talk about media, we refer to the information channels that transmit the messages to the target audience or audience, who interpret them according to their knowledge, so this becomes a spiral process, where the interest of proposing a free culture Of the dangers becomes less and less. Citizen security is part of programs developed by entities that seek community welfare, and that is where the media must cooperate to achieve a harmonious coexistence of those who are part of this global village. It is for this reason that it is taken as fundamental, to investigate the relationship of the media and citizen security programs, and how this can be perceived by citizens. The present research was carried out under a qualitative and quantitative research approach regarding the variables used in the study, where field research was used, through the use of surveys of the selected sample belonging to the readers of the newspapers La Hora And El Heraldo of Canton Ambato. The same one that allowed to see how it is his perception before the contents of the Social Cause “Minga por la Vida” of the Government of Tungurahua, emitted by said newspapers. A questionnaire was applied with specific questions, the results of which justify the proposal developed for the adequate dissemination of such contents, such as the design of a web page exclusively for the issuance of all relevant information of the Social Cause “Minga por la Vida”.

    La comunicación ambiental y la conservación de los páramos en la Parroquia de Pilahuin

    The purpose of this study is to analyze the environmental communication and the attitude of the inhabitants in the care of páramos in the community of Tamboloma of the parish of Pilahuin, detailing the causes on the environmental problems, the strengthening of knowledge and the practice of good customs for respect towards the environment. Environmental communication provides the opportunity to sensitize people ecologically through information and education, through communication strategies that improve cognitive levels on the importance of the conservation of páramos in the sector. The research was of documentary, bibliographic and field type where the inhabitants of the community and authorities of the Autonomous Decentralized Government (GAD) Pilahuin were included, where techniques such as interview, survey and photography were applied to establish the reality of knowledge environmental and methods for their cognitive strengthening. In the Ecuadorian territory, public and private organizations have developed different environmental communication activities, with the commitment to guarantee the conservation of the environment and preserve the ecosystems, this due to the level of importance of the natural resources with the country, within the results obtained in the research, highlights the limited knowledge of people about environmental communication and the lack of information programs by the authorities in which it is made known its importance in the conservation of páramos in the parish, so considers it essential to propose a socialization campaign that improves and deepens the information levels on these issues through communication products, to contribute to the practice of activities for the care of natural areas with an adequate environmental responsibility.

    Comunicación digital, convivencia e interculturalidad entre los futbolistas extranjeros ynacionales. Caso: Mushuc Runa Sporting Club

    The research is part of the project: “Netnography and digital communication in times of pandemic and/ or postpandemic COVID 2019”, belonging to the Social, Democratic and Educational Strengthening Domain, of the Faculty of Jurisprudence and Social Sciences, with the Research Lines Communication, Society, Culture and Technology and Social Exclusion and Integration. Soccer is undoubtedly one of the most consumed sports worldwide and its practice is immersed in different objects to be studied. Among them, digital communication, coexistence and interculturality. Therefore, the research describes how is digital communication, coexistence and interculturally, between foreign and national soccer players in “Mushuc Runa Sporting Club” and being this the first Ecuadorian team that has in its roster a player of indigenous ethnicity differentiates it from others. It was carried out through a qualitative methodology divided into three parts. The first was based on direct observation in the club`s training sessions for one month, where relevant aspects of coexistent were analyzed and identified. Semi- structured interviews were conducted with three foreign players and four national players on intercultural relations. By means of netnography in the players profile in the social network “Facebook”, the comments, likes, reactions were examined, and it was concluded that, in this social network, the digital communication among soccer players is limited, existing little coexistence and interculturally.

    ABSTRACT The present investigation focuses in a problem that The Vinitos Ltda Enterprise has which is due to the bad external communication that produces damage in the corporative image of the business. To solve the problem a quantitative methodology has been used; this method is based in questionnaires about clients, workers and owners of the business. This method will also explore and interrelate the variables to determine the cause and the effect. The modality of this is outdoors, bibliographic and documental. Once the questionnaires were applied the results determined that the enterprise crosses a communicative crisis because the business does not have any communication media and the clients feel unsatisfied with the information that they received. Clients manifest they do not know anything about activities, events and other things about the company. The absence of publicity of The Vinitos Ltda Company makes that the consumers do not go to the bar and the corporative image is also damaged. It is recommended to make rapidly a digital external communication plan that internalizes in the clients´ minds a new and improved corporative image. The decision to make the external communication in a digital way is because the clients responded in the questionnaires that they like to be informed through this kind of media. The target clients are young people between 18 and 30 years old.

    La Comunicación intercultural y los saberes ancestrales-la partería- en la parroquia de Juan Benigno Vela

    The facts that are presented in this investigation are key arguments to establish that the knowledge about other cultures opens communicational gaps, proving that the inclusion of practices, rituals and ancestral knowledge from towns and native nationalities from Ecuador, provide the acceptance and the recognition from mestizo population. The currently investigation presents an issue, where the inequality is more evident every time that we talk about ethnicity and it is presented as a result from racism, the segregation of the native culture and their ancestral knowledge produced by the limited social empowerment that exist in Ambato and Tungurahua, due to that authorities do not get centered to encourage practices and ancestral knowledge from native communities, obtained as a result the conformism from the same natives in front of intercultural social issues. The midwifery is an ancient trade that carries on the mother´s care and the newborn beside the knowledge, management and use of different herbal remedies that are used in the born moment and postnatal, same that correspond to the world vision that goes associated to biological, spiritual and cosmic concepts which coexist in a harmonic balance between human been and nature. Such investigation is in the critic-constructive paradigm, because it focuses, conceptualizes and analyzes the social – cultural problematic; inside a qualitative methodology, where we try to describe systematically the characteristics of the variable and the events discovered through people´s experiences, and is this ethnographic kind that implies the reality approach to the midwives’ reality to obtain information; it is necessary to describe and investigate the midwifery and the ancient knowledge that carries itself, so it could be known and related to the intercultural communication as a link to the relationship to the community. The obtained results show that the ancestral practices like the midwifery is been losing, there are few men and women that continue with this millennia profession, it is limited the interest in the young people from the native communities to keep alive this tradition.

    The research has focused on correcting the inconveniences generated by the poor internal communication of COEXPO Cía. Ltda., Causing a deterioration in its productivity. In order to solve this problem, it has been preferred to use a methodology with a qualitative approach, with which personal interviews were carried out with each member of the company, interviews that covered topics on the areas of internal communication and productivity of the organization; The variables were also explored and correlated to determine causes and effects of the problem. Once the results of the interviews were observed, it was evident that the company in question has communication difficulties, its level of knowledge about the functionality of internal communication is low and it is not potentialized correctly, which leads to a weakening in several aspects such as Productivity and the work environment. For this reason, it is recommended to execute an Internal Communication Plan in which all those who make up the company participate and establish communication strategies that help improve the company's failures in this area, which also improves the economic environment.

    Comunicación Mediática en redes sociales y el conocimiento sobre la producción del café en Ecuador. El caso de Coffe

    In the new technologies, media communication is presented as an alternative to create a coffee culture in Ecuador, since users have a preference for information through social networks, and in this case Facebook. Coffee Humboldt, an Ecuadorian agribusiness, is a company that aims to create a coffee culture through its official Facebook page, disseminating content about coffee production in the country. For this purpose a direct observation of the person in charge of the management of social networks was carried out, in addition to interviewing the executive president and coffee grower of the company, resulting in this purpose being born from the need to give prominence and value to the coffee grower, from whom the information that is subsequently shared through posts comes from. The research aims to find out if there is knowledge of users about coffee production in Ecuador, through a descriptive, explanatory and evaluative research with a qualitative and quantitative approach through a content analysis of three most relevant publications and the interview of a focus group of eight prominent followers of the official Facebook page of Coffee Humboldt, resulting in favorable responses that show that users do acquire knowledge about coffee through the content disseminated by the brand, and also share it so that more people know about the subject. Giving prominence and appreciation to the coffee grower's work is the objective of the company and through the information disseminated they will be able to promote the coffee culture

    Organizational communication over time has become a Latent in institutions, and even if its name is made present by the very fact of belonging to an organization, often has not been considered as a relevant element until a problem of communication in the organization in relation to the external public. The methodology used for the preparation of this project is qualitative. Based on the documentary research, a survey was carried out on both GAD officials and villagers. With the results obtained, the respective statistical tables were designed with the analyzes and interpretations. This is why the project implemented aims to indicate that communication, and in this case organizational communication, is an important factor that directs the relationships between internal and external elements of the entities, that is, between employees of the institution and local people. In general terms, the dissemination of public information has a lot to do with the strategies that are implemented within the communication department to reach the population of the Patate canton, taking into account each of the settlers and their situation, as well as the places And age.

    La comunicación organizacional y la percepción ciudadana de la gestión del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipalidad de Ambato

    The present study studies the influence of the organizational communication of the Municipality of Ambato on the citizen perception of the inhabitants of the urban parish La Matriz regarding the management of the Decentralized Autonomous Government Municipality of Ambato (GADMA). In order to arrive at a solution to the problem, we have chosen to use quantitative and qualitative approach methodology, through surveys of the journalists-reporters in the city and the inhabitants of the urban parish La Matriz in the canton of Ambato, and the interview with an institutional journalist GADMA. Methodological resources that allowed obtaining relevant information. Once the data obtained from the perception were analyzed and interpreted, it was determined that journalists are aware of what happens inside and outside the GADMA and that they coincide in the deficiency of the processes of organizational communication and the work of The Head of Institutional Communication. On the other hand, most citizens do not feel heard and consider that their opinion is not taken into account for the decisions adopted by the Municipality and does not feel involved in them, which is why public participation is ignored, In the low level of satisfaction regarding the municipal public management qualified between regular and bad. With the results obtained, it is recommended to publicize the municipal services of the directions and departments belonging to the GADMA through a mass media of communication, which contributes to generate a mechanism of participation in which the citizens feel that their opinion is taken consider. Therefore it is suggested the production of a weekly interactive radio program for the dissemination of public services of the GADMA and citizen participation of the inhabitants of the canton Ambato.

    The present work has gathered key information to understand the connotations of advertising discourse conveyed through effective communication management by CocaCola to create and maintain an emotional connection with its customers worldwide. This project includes a historical overview of the company's advertising, emphasizing its ability to position itself in the global market as a leader in the use of emotional marketing, adapting to the realities of each locality. Additionally, it examines how the company adapted to new cultural and social dynamics that emerged during the Covid-19 pandemic. Through the analysis of advertising discourse, the study explores the messaging strategies employed during this period, highlighting crucial aspects such as the call for change, resilience, love, unity, and the importance of human connections. These narratives were tailored to the particularities of each geographic context. Thus, this research contributes to the field of advertising discourse analysis by providing a better understanding of the advertising strategies applied in contexts of despair and uncertainty. This project seeks to analyze and describe the connotations conveyed by Coca-Cola's advertising spots aired during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study employs a qualitative methodology through the application of a discourse analysis matrix, which is essential for obtaining results. It aims to uncover the deeper aspects embedded in these Coca-Cola advertising campaigns and demonstrate how employing strategies that emotionally connect with consumers can be the key to success, allowing the brand to be positively perceived in the minds of its target audience

    The informative content of professional football on the social network Facebook and user behavior. It became a problem in the most popular classics in Latin America and Europe, therefore, the behavior patterns of users are transmitted in different ways such as: insult, irony, challenge, questioning, affection, memory, the feeling, joy and happiness. In this way, their behavior is demonstrated with the objectives present in the research: distinguish sports content on Facebook and human behavior, identify the level of consumption of users on the social network Facebook, and discover the behaviors that They produce football in the fans. To do this, the methodology chosen in this qualitative and quantitative research is proposed, identifying the content analysis of professional football and user behavior on the network.     Social networks along with the internet came to transform communication, because thanks to these sites you can establish relationships with people around the world and interact with them in an easy and accessible way. Thus, within social networks, memes have become a trend that I could not miss, through these the opinion of people is expressed on a topic that is in trend, but with a satirical touch; This is not new, because memes are the result of the evolution of the pamphlets and posters that people used to express their ideas, before the appearance of the internet and social networks. Thus, this research aims to determine the message contained in the memes published on the social network Twitter during the October 2019 mobilizations in Ecuador, as well as to identify and analyze their content. For which, several authors and investigations have been taken into account where the importance of memes in social networks is reflected during important events that are immersed in various aspects such as politics. Today memes and social networks are important in the communication process, especially with regard to representing public opinion while developing a momentous event or event for a country. For this reason, the methodology used is quantitative in nature, through the content analysis technique, specifically the meme published on the account @LaEngracia on October 11, 2019, on the social network Twitter during the mobilizations.

    Social networks have had significant growth in the last decade, displacing even traditional media, so influencers have gained ground today, on YouTube, Instagram and Tik Tok. The general objective of this research is to determine the relationship between the media content of the lifestyle Influencer Paulie Dahl in the Tik Tok social network and the intervention of her followers. The methodology used is quantitative, bibliographic and descriptive, the selected technique is content analysis, applying an evaluation sheet to five videos. The following dimensions were evaluated: attributes, influence variables, discursive procedures, followers of the influencers and content through a scale that measures the level of satisfaction of the communication elements present. The findings show that the level of satisfaction with the videos is medium low in relation to the information they provide to the followers, on the other hand it is medium in the affirmation, entertainment and inspiration approach, participation also obtains a medium low index, but It has a large number of followers. Pearson's correlation is low and medium between the dimensions evaluated, the p value does not show significant relationships. It is concluded that the influencers develop videos of interest to their followers, with a focus on entertainment and inspiration, but they are less informative, created with the purpose of obtaining likes or "I like it"

    This research was done with purpose of determinate how the Organic Communication Law (Numeral 2nd, Article 44th) has influence on Sport Journalists‘ Labor Rights and all their possible consequences during their habitual job on Ambato city. The project is being analyzed from two theoretical fundaments will give a better understanding about Organic Communication Law on its Numeral 2nd and Article 44th, besides with the support of 35 academic textbooks and more than eight of the most recent scientific papers, was established the variables for a 12 item-questionnaire with different options to answer them, this document was felled by 20 Broadcast Radio Journalists and the results were tabulated and systematized to identify a co-relation levels between the 2 variables that are being studied and verifying the hypothesis through Chi-Square Statistic Test. With this research was obtained the conclusion that Sport Journalists‘ Labor Rights on Ambato city are not respected, according how is established on Organic Communication Law, Numeral 2nd, Article 44th; affecting to professionals engaged in Sport Journalism, therefore is necessary the application of capacitating plans to Communication Mains Bosses and Social Communicators, having the objective to get awareness about this important topic at the present time.

    La difusión masiva de la teatralización de la guerra del Inga Palla en el Cantón Tisaleo y su repercusión en el turismo cultural

    The media (radio, press, television and internet), have been responsible for disseminating the different national and international festivals, thus providing a space for tourists and people in general to know about the different festivities to be held. The present investigative study deals with the analysis of the mass media and the repercussion that these have on the cultural tourism of the canton Tisaleo in a special way in the diffusion of the theatricalization of the war in the party of Inga Palla that takes place the second week of the month of October. In order to determine the function fulfilled by mass media (written), it was proposed as objectives; Analyze the massive diffusion of the theatricalization of the war of the "Inga Palla", diagnose how cultural tourism is found, with respect to the theatricalization of the Inga Palla war, design an alternative solution to the problem. To fulfill the objectives, I applied a survey to the people who attended the event on Monday, October 15, 2018, for them it was considered a sample of 361 visitors, most of whom responded that they always attend these festivities, in the same way that they did not report this activity by written means of communication, for all this resulted in that it is necessary that the canton have a means of written communication so that they can make known the whole development of the war, in the same way most of the respondents answered who are very in agreement that "La Guerra" of the Inga Palla de Tisaleo, should be considered as Cultural Patrimony of Ecuador.
