Item Ell padecimiento de una enfermedad cancerígena y su influencia en el estado de ánimo, en pacientes adultos que acuden al hospital oncológico dr. Julio Enrique Paredes C. Solca(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2020-07-01) Yanez Lagua, Darwin Fabricio; Saltos Salazar, Lenin Fabián Psi. Cli. Mg.The main objective of this research is to determinate the relationship between of a carcinogenic disease and the mood and some specific objectives: identify the type of cancer predominant in adult patients, describe the mood with highest prevalence and differentiate the sociodemographic variables such as gender, age, marital status and habits that influence the suffering of cancer disease. The present study has a descriptive, correlational, of type quantitative and cross sectional approach, where a psychological instrument was applied to 80 patients who attend Solca-Ambato Oncology Hospital, the instrument used was the DASS-21 depression, anxiety and stress scale (Mood), and used a sociodemographic record was also in order to meet a specific objective. As results, it is obtained that the majority of the patients who come to this center have stress in 35%, depression in 40%, and anxiety in 58.8% all this in relation to the mood, as well the type of cancer most prevalent in men is that of prostate with 16.3% and in women, breast cancer 23.8%, in terms of habits with 71.3% did not have any type of habit, it was finally observed the majority people attended are women, followed by married representing 76.3%, finally is advisable in the future to carry out explanatory studies that allow an understanding of the effect that has the time and mood
