In this context, the research on the topic of the Feasibility Project for the creation of a Social Responsibility area in the public Geriatric Care Centers of Salcedo, aims to generate the creation of care services for the elderly from a social service approach so that their development allows them better integration into the environment. Under the above, the Municipal Board of Salcedo generates its management based on the provision of innovative services that satisfy the needs of the elderly, thus promoting high social responsibility and territorial development. The methodological design used the mixed approach because it involved the collection, analysis and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data necessary for the study, the scope of this exploratory study, allowed to gather information on the characteristics of the non-existence of a feasibility project, likewise from the descriptive research it is intended to describe the characteristics that have caused the problem, while the collection of information was carried out through the survey directed to the population of Salcedo generating relevant results on the need for a Geriatric Center in the town to promote an environment with social empowerment. Finally, the proposal allowed to outline a feasibility project in which innovative services are generated through competitive strategies that make a difference using the integration of social responsibility to improve the institutional profile through a service to these vulnerable people, therefore the financial management focuses on obtaining capital and work to place the service in demand and position the institutional geriatric center as a transversal axis of comprehensive care for the elderly.
