Msc.The objective of this research was to determine the effect of active breaks with resistance through the intervention of stretching and exercises given to the administrative participants of the Faculty of Health Sciences through the Zoom platform. A survey about the desire to participate in the research was conducted to 27 participants, of which 15 agreed to be part of it and were divided into three groups: experimental group 1, experimental group 2 and control group. Participants were given an initial and final evaluation of the EVA scale and the DASH, NDI and ODI questionnaires. The study is descriptive because the data was collected in the workplace through an online survey; quantitative since it seeks to verify the effectiveness of active breaks through statistical data; longitudinal because data were collected at the beginning and at the end of the intervention. Lata Sánchez, María AugustaMusculoskeletal injuries constitute one of the most important causes of morbidity in the health field; There is a high prevalence of chronic injuries, attributed to the great physical and postural requirement at work, for this reason it was proposed to identify the level of risk of developing musculoskeletal disorders in automotive mechanics, GAB MOTORS, for which it was structured a record of information to determine the most common injuries, in terms of type, duration, location and treatment received; To identify the positions with the highest level of risk, the OWAS Method was applied, with which it obtained the global level of risk by posture and the relative frequency by segment in each posture to finally relate the level of risk with the presence and duration of musculoskeletal injuries , the study was conducted in 12 automotive mechanic workers. It was obtained that the most frequent lesion was the contractures followed by tendinitis, lasting between 2 to 4 months and especially located in the back, the majority of postures did not represent an irrigation, but if levels 2, 3 and up to 4 were found They were suggested to be operated immediately, finally there was a significant relationship of (0.029) between musculoskeletal injuries and the level of risk.Item “Detección y análisis de trastornos musculoesqueléticos en adultas mayores usuarias de Chumbi”.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Terapia Física, 2019-09-01) Herrera Yánez, Mónica Lucia; Latta Sánchez, María Augusta Lcda. Mg.Currently there is no relevant data on the subject in Ecuador, for this reason the research is important for a future study, since it will be investigated on the musculoskeletal disorders that are caused by the postural alterations and the activation of the musculature that make up the band Abdominal in older women users of chumbi, since when performing daily activities in the field this population requires using the musculature of the spine to perform activities that require a lot of muscular effort. The research according to the study method is descriptive and observational, it is also quantitative since the postural test was used and statistical data were handled that the software of the team assesses the muscular activity. The study was carried out in two rural parishes of the Ambato canton, such as Macasto and Apatug. The research line of this study is epidemiology. It is concluded that older women who are users of chumbi have greater postural alteration at the level of the spine and hip, musculoskeletal disorders at the same level of the alteration and muscle activity is decreased in relation to older women who are not users of chumbi. Msc.The development of the following research work aims to identify risks present in the workers of the manufacture of footwear within the area of manual cutting which have been classified as a vulnerable sector within the working class by factors such as poor positions that they involve muscle strain, excessive muscle load, finally subjected to vibrations repetitive movements that according to the literature are the factor to which there is greater exposure by workers who perform manual activities reason why musculoskeletal disorders are generated directly affected on the health of the worker, business productivity and becoming a social and health problem due to the high numbers of registered cases. The present investigation was developed with the participation of the footwear producing companies that make up the CALTU Ambato, which expressed their interest and full collaboration for the realization by making available all the companies for their socialization with the people who work in the area of Cut for the respective application of the instrument. The instrument used was the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), which provided information on the level of intervention or intervention, classifying the cutting activity in different levels of risk and allowing them to be related to the presence of musculoskeletal disorders.
