Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2021-04) Amaguaña Moreta, Alex Mauricio; Castro Miniguano, Christian ByronThe constant need to reduce unexpected stops of machines/equipment and extending their useful life, has allowed the creation, improvement, innovation and adaptation of new methods, plans and maintenance programs highly dynamics and friendly to humans and the industry. For this reason, this technical project is developed due to the preventive maintenance needs required by the vertical transport of the building of the Civil Engineering career of the UTA. For this study, we started from an analysis that contemplates the knowledge of the generalities of the elevator as well as its operation; after it is determined which are the mechanical, electrical and electronic components that make up the elevator, this with the aim of identifying those that are the most likely to cause or suffer failures over time. For the failure analysis, the FMEA analysis and the criticality analysis were used. In this way, both the logs and the maintenance ranges were developed in accordance with the analyzes carried out and in accordance with the guidelines that govern the UNE-EN 13015:2002+A1:2008 standard.
