Item Análisis de fallos y modos de fallos de los generadores térmicos de la Central Térmica LLigua de la empresa Eléctrica Ambato Regional Centro Norte S.A. y su incidencia en la disponibilidad(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2023-03) Roldán Toapanta, Patricia Estefanía; Castro Miniguano, Christian ByronIn the generation of energy by means of engines fed by a fuel, in this type of plants, the components that make it up, such as the engine and the alternator, are generally called a group. The present experimental work was developed through an investigation of internal combustion engines and synchronous alternating current generators, with the aim of analyzing the availability of the machines through failure analysis and failure modes (AMFE) in the main components, taking Weibull's mathematical method and graphic model as one of the main parameters where the reliability of the components is analyzed using Technical Note NTP 331, in the criticality analysis the most critical elements were determined using Technical Note NTP 679, the same data that served to carry out a statistical model with tests that accept or reject the hypothesis, and through investigations, proformas, some acquisition costs in engine components were determined. Through the analyzes carried out, it is determined that the motors are in a stage III of increasing failures, demonstrating that the failures and failure modes affect the availability of the thermal generators of the Lligua Thermal Power Plant belonging to the Central North Regional Ambato Electric Company S.A.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para los moldes de inyección en el área de producción de la empresa Halley Corporación C.L(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. That is why to carry out this technical project, the needs of the company "Halley Corporación CL" were taken into account, to have a preventive maintenance plan for the molds knowing how important it is to have one, this will help us to early detection of failures or damage that may occur in the molds and their components, in order to prolong their useful life and thus reduce costs. For the development of the maintenance plan, an inventory was started, where the current state of the molds is detailed, a list of components was also generated and technical sheets were made to then proceed with an analysis of failures and failure modes of the components by means of the AMFE matrix based on NTP 679, finally the Weibull mathematical and graphic model was applied according to NTP 331 to determine the reliability of the molds. Consequently, the numerical values and parameters necessary to configure detailed time intervals per month were obtained, with the help of logs and maintenance ranges where the corresponding preventive actions are carried out, to prioritize maintenance work.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para las máquinas industriales del taller automotriz del GAD municipalidad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2023-02) Tituaña Chicaiza, Sandra Marisol; Castro Miniguano, Christian ByronIt is important to emphasize that nowadays industrial maintenance is an integral part of the productive processes which are responsible for developing and optimizing any process, minimizing failures and interruptions in the operation of any machine or equipment. For this reason, a preventive maintenance plan was developed for GAD machines in Ambato. The methodology used was based on qualitative and quantitative models, where a series of data and analysis of characteristics were used to collect information, which allowed solving each of the proposed tasks. In addition, the development of the plan was not only considered on an empirical basis. In fact, it was based on the computer-aided maintenance management model (CMMS) combined with a Weibull normal distribution. The analysis of the operating parameters of each machine showed that each of them has certain characteristics, so their maintenance should be focused on their specific needs. Finally, it is of utmost importance to remember that it will be possible to optimize and determine the working conditions of a machine by direct observation and the best way to do this is a guided tour of the study area.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo en el área de fibra de la empresa Carrocerías Varma S.A. de la ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. For this reason, the objective of the following project is to do a preventive maintenance in the machines of the fiberglass area of Carrocerías Varma, starting from an inventory of the machinery where statistical data were collected, operation times, external valuation, creating technical data sheets where the information of each machine is detailed, external valuation creating technical data sheets detailing the information of each machine proceeding first to apply the calculation of availability, failure analysis with the AMFE matrix in accordance with NTP 679, Criticality Analysis and finally proceeded to apply the mathematical model and graphical Weibull under the NTP 331 in order to determine the availability of each of the machines. As a result, numerical values and parameters of each machine were obtained, necessary to structure maintenance schedules carrying out preventive activities with their respective frequencies of time in the daily work, ensuring to improve the functionality of the machines and equipment, thus extending the useful life and giving a greater rentability to the company.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo mediante el método TPM para el area de producción en las secciones de inyección de la empresa Halley corporación C.L(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2022-08) De la Cruz Chamba, Jairo Wladimir; Castro Miniguano, Christian ByronThis technical project was taken into account to meet the needs of the company "HALLEY CORPORACION C.L." which consists of improving the maintenance activities of the plastic injection machines which collaborate in the production of different types of products which are generated within the company, for the elaboration of the project it was necessary to develop an approach based on reliability to later be able to develop the different maintenance activities. In order to identify the different failures that may exist in the machines, the NTP 679 standard has been used, which provided us with information on the analysis of failures in its different parts, for the analysis by the Weibull method, the NTP 331 standard has been used. which helped us determine the time of good operation. Finally, the final product of the project presents us with an annual maintenance plan which is distributed in 6 ranges which indicate the preventive maintenance activities to be carried out in the different systems that make up the plastic injection machines which are in a stage child support.Item Implementación de la metodología de Weibull para el diseño de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo en las máquinas industriales de la empresa carrocerías Jácome(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2020-08) Quishpe Villa, Christian Manuel; Castro Miniguano, Byron ChristianThe maintenance plan was established with the main purpose of determining current state of industrial machines of the Company named as "CARROCERÍAS JÁCOME", as well as detailing activities that allow their proper performance. Given that the equipment of the mentioned Company is considerably new (4 years), a statistic analysis could not be established so, the AMFE matrix was used, determining the most critical component with the respective actions to reduce damage. Once data were obtained, the machine statistic was established and operating times, repair times, dead time and stop times were obtained. Using the prevention technical note NTP 331 detailed as Weibull Reliability, the data from the machine statistics is analyzed with the aim of establishing where the equipment is currently located in bathtub curve. The aforementioned reliability was determined by two ways, a constant failure rate and general formula presented in that technical note. NTP 331 shows two models to determine reliability, mathematical model and graphic model. Both models were used because when we combine this two, data correlation is greater than 0.95 points. In this way, the maintenance ranges were suitably established while meeting the Company's specific requirements.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo y predictivo mediante la distribución de WEIBULL para las Inyectoras horizontales de polímeros en la empresa Ingeniería Diseño de Suelas(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2019) Freire Pérez, Fernando Isidro; Castro Miniguano, Byron ChristianThe present technical work is developed based on the needs of carrying an adequate preventive and predictive maintenance for the injectors of polymers in the company of "Ingenieria Diseño de Suelas", with the purpose of diminishing the times of repair produced by the failures caused in the components of the machines and thus be able to avoid the unnecessary stops in the production and in the injected of the soles of shoes. For the development of the plan, statistical data of maintenance activities previously carried out were taken, which allowed us to identify, through an AMFE matrix, the most critical components or the most prone to failures. Subsequently, with the collected data, the statistical analysis was carried out by means of the WEIBULL distribution of each injector machine, both the mathematical model and the graphic model, calculating the reliability of the data that have a 95% truthfulness, because the method WEIBULL allows to give a more relevant criterion on which position of the curve of the bathtub are the machines and the pertinent actions that must be carried out to avoid the failures. To carry out this project, NTP 331 and NTP 679 were used for the WEIBULL and AMFE analyzes respectively, after which the preventive maintenance ranges were carried out each month to keep the organized control of the same, thus avoiding unnecessary stoppages that harm the good operations of the machines.Item Determinación del potencial eólico disponible en el sector de río Blanco perteneciente al cantón Ambato provincia de Tungurahua(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2017) Naranjo Toapanta, Juan José; Mayorga Pardo, Alex SantiagoThe present research work is based on the determination of wind potential through the use of wind (wind energy) in the sector of “Río Blanco del cantón Ambato provincia de Tungurahua”. In the present project, the analytical method was used, in order to evaluate the variables that present the study site such as: direction and wind speed, through the support tower located in the place of study owned by the project " VIABILIDAD DEL POTENCIAL ENERGÉTICO Y SOCIOECONÓMICO DE ENERGÍAS RENOVABLES ", whose measuring devices were placed at 10, 20 and 30 meters of height, from which data was collected for a year and processed and analyzed in this research project, resulting in a wind potential Available from 151,123 W / m2 to 10 meters high, while for a height of 20 meters its potential is 147,327 W / m2 and for a height of 30 meters its potential is 143,548 W / m2 with a predominant wind direction From the East. The implementation of wind turbines for low-scale energy production in the sector of Río Blanco of the Ambato city is feasible because of the favorable winds and a turbulence index of 0,1, which is why it is possible to install horizontal axis wind turbines , since these present greater efficiency and their wear would be minimal.
