Maestría en Diseño Arquitectónico, 2019-06) Chávez Montes, Marco Antonio; Cardoso Pacheco, Pablo DanielThis research has as its general objective: To evaluate the natural lighting in multifamily housing units of the parish of Licán in Riobamba city in order to improve the architectural design that enhances the natural lighting. The investigation generated the following result; the 57% represents the majority of the population that resides in this sector, they do not have an efficient use of natural light in their homes. They manifest their disagreement with the architectural designs that they have in their current housing units. So that, it is proposed to design a Multifamily Housing Unit which make the most the natural lighting with the use of bioclimatic architectural elements such as climate and typology, in order to obtain benefits for both owners and professionals in architecture.Item La luz natural en la vivienda vernácula: Análisis al Centro Histórico de la Parroquia Pasa(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Maestría en Diseño Arquitectónico, 2018-12) Bustán Gaona, Darío Fernando; López Ulloa, Fabián SantiagoPasa which is a rural town keeps a Patrimonial Historical Complex with a great importance for Tungurahua and the country. However,the increasing age of the complex has deteriorated it; and as well as, the given solutions at its own spatial level made in the era they represent. On the other hand, there have been low levels of natural lighting towards the interior space of the houses. This has been the main reason of the research. The methodology used in the development of the research is based on the quantitative – qualitative or mix approach, which seeks to identify the qualities and characteristics of the infrastructure in order to know how the entry of light is related to the typology, orientation, uses of soil, materiality, and other factors that are addressed to the analysis by calculation which it is intended to obtain data of light levels towards the interior of the housing. The research has shown the lack of natural light in the vernacular housing style of the complex in Pasa. By which a proposal is generated to improve the lighting inside the houses. First, it is necessary to achieve an increase of light levels in the interior of the houses. Second, it is important to provide greater comfort in the use of internal spaces without affecting the formal structure of the building by respecting the current regulations and international letters of patrimonial intervention. Maestría en Diseño Arquitectónico, 2018-12) Brito Poveda, Marco Enrique; Suárez Abril, Eduardo SantiagoThis research studies the artistic development of the city of Ambato at present, from a socio-spatial approach, using as a resource the valorization of these aspects to enhance this cultural manifestation. The problem is defined in the reduced value that our societies give to art, this devaluation, goes from the ignorance of art as such, the absence of the architecture of the concept, and goes through the new understanding of art as a potential for social development. This research work aims to revalue art through the proposal of an architectural project, which provides the physical space and houses the institutionalization of a professional entity of visual arts, thought precisely from art and conceived from the social. The present study in its chapters seeks to clarify the power that artistic manifestations can have in society, for which they need to be revalued from the social and whose components; cultural, educational, political, economic, ideological, and spatial, work in parallel with art as a strategic alternative for growth. The research is projected to collect data from society, making use of the techniques of interviews and surveys of artists, cultural managers and the public, to determine methodologically if the artistic development of a society depends effectively; of the valorization that we provide, of the professional instruction and, of the constructed spatial state. From the investigation it was obtained that; there is a lack of knowledge of the art and / or culture of Ambato, on average of 70.95%, based on interviews and surveys, 63.19% of the population consider the city to be underdeveloped in the arts, but the 86.13% affirm that professionalization is paramount and the level of acceptance of the proposal in this work is encouraging.Item Análisis del equipamiento urbano público de las ciudades medias de la provincia de Tungurahua y el efecto en su morfología urbano arquitectónica(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Maestría en Diseño Arquitectónico, 2018-12) Montoya Mantilla, César Julio; Jara López, Víctor OswaldoThis research focused is the urban equipment study on the Tungurahua province middle cities. Whereby, a specific analysis is made of each of the settlements of this type; thus, based on the gathered information, analysis, and interpretation, to expose a basic regulation for social-urban equipment. In which way, architecture interventions within the urban, sub urban and marginal urban areas of the cities in question; attempting to establish prototype that will be imitated on the other cities with similar characteristics since they are immersed within the established demographic range. We need to optimize resources through the correct sizing, functionality, scope of an architectural form according to the environment, and multi functionality of the buildings; improving the urban morphology of the cities in question. According to the process of this research project provided by the Faculty of Design Architecture and Arts, it will begin by determining the problem from its causes and effects detected. The next step will be the theoretical frame work presentation, where the concepts and basic foundations of investigation’s topic. For which, a main instrument will be used, such as the "Technical type matrix" to get the pertinent information to analyze and evaluate each urban equipment identified forth is studying an individualized way. The next information is disclosed in the Methodological frame work where it exposes the way how the investigation was developed and how their results were obtained to establishing Architectural Proposal through the design of demanded equipment or that requires specialized intervention in Tisaleo. All of which mentioned above musters pond to the regulations established for medium-sized cities, creating prototypes at a spatial and technical level as a result of this research. The conclusions and recommendations will be bright to light after carry in gout the analyzes and determining the comparative vet advantages bet wean the equipment of the different cities under study; point in go technical opinions to improve their deficiencies in the short, medium and long terms, giving broad to intra-urban and regional influence radius, with the purpose of creating a great provincial planning's y stem that allows to implement a functional and aesthetic urban equipment.Item Análisis del espacio público de la ciudad de Quero: su rol en el desarrollo del entorno urbano(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Maestría en Diseño Arquitectónico, 2018-12) Llerena Tamayo, Mauricio Rodrigo; Suárez Abril, Eduardo SantiagoThe problematic that inspired this research come from the worsening of the level of social relation between the inhabitants of the urban area of the city of Quero, which reveals a series of causes and effects within the social, economic, technical and political spheres, facts that aware of a series of deficits in the structure of public spaces ranging from its conception, functionality, development and role to the relations with its environment, which makes it evident that there are deficiencies in the public spaces like underused, incorrectly located or constructed in areas of the city with a dangerous conditions, passive urban environments, areas in the process of housing consolidation and of mono-functional use. The purpose of the research is to structure a new model of sectorial analysis of the public spaces, in which reference is made to the relevant changes needed to certain criteria like vitality, diversity, legibility and proximity; so that they can be related in a way to the daily life and needs of its inhabitants. In this context, the first methodological process carried out was based on the field research from the application of a series of surveys aimed at citizens and technical specialists from the GAD Cantonal de Quero, which allowed gathering information about public space and the urban environment, finally through surveys observation form, information was collected about the functionality, spatial and the development of activities that stimulate the relationship between the public space and the environment to identify the existing shortcomings. In this way a change will be generated through the proposal of a "Structure of a Model of a Sectorial Analysis of the Public Space and its relation with the Urban Environment of the city of Quero", that through the analysis in its immediate and neighbourhood context will allowed to identify the level of influence in technical and socio-economic terms, its limitations and conditions in the relationship between public space and environment in the city, sector and public scale approach.Item La vivienda social y el confort higrotérmico en la parroquia rural de Huambaló(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Maestría en Diseño Arquitectónico, 2018-12) Aldás Aldás, Jessica Margarita; Paredes Vásconez, Hugo HernánRecognize the characteristics of the constructive system of social housing in the parish of Huambaló and Pelileo canton in the province of Tungurahua, in relation to the hygrothermal comfort generated, is a descriptive study of the attributes of the buildings and the benefits obtained inside, the perception of the people living in the houses built by MIDUVI was extracted, by means of techniques such as a survey, as well as instrumental measurement and interviews with specialists in the subject. The Scientific Method, the deduction and the analysis, are the predominant procedures in the work, although it also used Modeling as a complement for the design of the proposal. It was detected that the social housing is 10 years old, 75% occupied by families of 4 members, in a construction area of 35 to 50 m2, whose water comes from a permanent flow, in one of each three houses are productive activities such as clothing and trade, these spaces have different levels of humidity, the most humid being the kitchen and the living room, especially in its solid block walls, the roofs are fiber cement, galvanized metal, in so much that the floors are ceramic and / or wood. There is a deep relationship between the hygrothermal comfort and the construction system of homes, buildings that are colder at night and early morning by the strong night wind, which led to 13.1% of the buildings have been modified to optimize their temperature , instrumentally, it was detected that in 60% of the houses there is a relative humidity of 56 to 60%. Maestria de Diseño Arquitectónico Avanzado, 2018-05) Córdova Feijoo, Andrés Vinicio; Paredes Vásconez, Hugo HernánThe need, potential and the characteristics of the Salasaca community regarding the social, cultural and economic aspects, adapt improvisedly to the urban - architectural consolidation of the civic center, this is the problem of the present study, as the architectural interventions and urban areas respond to the conception and implementation of ethnocentric models, which have disregarded the community's vision of its territory. The purpose of the research is to determine an architectural and urban morphology that bases its principles on the potentials and values of the community, to consider how to solve the problems of relevance, congruence and functionality between the built structure and the Salasaca community. At the same time, it seeks a proposal that allows to see the public space of the Salasaca Civic Center, as an instrument in which learning / transmission of cultural values, social values, economic performance, productive techniques and other characteristics of the community. Through of the inclusion of bearing elements of identity value, spatial and interpersonal relationships, that allow in a premeditated way the adequate conditions, to conserve and highlight the traditions of the Salasaca culture. Basically the research seeks to materialize the Social, Economic and Cultural factors of the Salasaca Community in Architecture and Urbanism The final product of the research is a structure of relations and concepts applied to the design that are born from Salasaca customs and organization.
