    In recent years, society has experienced rapid technological progress, enabling the resolution of repetitive manual tasks, automation of processes, and efficient information storage. Healthcare, as a critical global industry, must integrate these new technologies to offer enhanced automated services and ensure secure information management. Therefore, adopting digital medical records to effectively register and monitor vital patient information is crucial. The aim of this research project is to develop a web application focused on addressing the challenges posed by paper-based management of dental records and appointments. This includes scheduling appointments, managing patients, users, and dentists. This system aims to streamline the search process for patient records and their associated information. Additionally, it organizes dental appointments to prevent scheduling conflicts and reduce waiting times at the establishment. The methodology employed in the project combined the strengths of Agile RAD methodology, facilitating continuous software deliveries to the client for ongoing user feedback, with Kanban's user story advantages for task execution across phases: backlog, in progress, and completed. Iterations were assigned with corresponding tasks, covering interface design, database development, and application implementation. The technologies utilized include Angular for client-side development and NodeJS for server-side operations.

    Currently, companies have embraced the integration of software tools to monitor production processes, thereby improving product quality, reducing operational expenses, and enhancing efficiency in determining final costs. Effective control within organizations enables them to maintain leadership in their industry and make informed decisions. The project's purpose is to create a progressive web application that facilitates the determination of production costs for stone materials at "ALVARADO ORTIZ CONSTRUCTORES" in Ambato. This is due to a deficient identification in obtaining these costs. The implementation of the progressive web application has not only optimized the identification of these costs but has also improved the processing times required to determine them, allowing efficient production management. For the development of the progressive web application, the Open Source Angular framework was employed, using TypeScript as the programming language. This implementation effectively facilitated the development of functionalities in the project. Additionally, the ASP.NET Core framework was used as the backend, enabling proper handling of HTTP request traffic. SQL Server was chosen as the database. The applied methodology was XP, providing adequate control over the activities outlined in the proposal. To gather information, a field investigation was conducted, including an observation sheet applied in the company and interview guides directed towards the organization's personnel

    At Present, the use of mobile and web applications, as well as the use of different technological tools such as tablets and smartphones, has become very common in the daily lives of people and companies. In the context of the health emergency, many companies found in the use of these resources an opportunity to improve and automate different processes, with which it was possible to optimize these processes and provide a better experience to users. This research project focused on the development of a Progressive Web Application (PWA) that allows to automate the order management process within the company "Megamultisuelas", in view of the company's need to improve and adapt to new technologies. technologies, in order to better position itself before its competitors and attract new customers. For the development of the progressive web application, open source tools were used, which facilitated its development. For the front-end, the VueJS framework was used, which is a progressive development framework that uses javascript and is easy to learn, and for the back-end, the Express framework was used, in which a REST API was built, which provided the services necessary for the functionality of the application. The development of this project used the XP methodology, which is an agile and flexible methodology that allows an organized and efficient development of the project, which allows obtaining quality software as a result, meeting the requirements established by the client.

    Aplicación web progresiva (PWA) para el control de inventarios en la empresa Ferrimar.

    Today there are a wide variety of types of applications that have been improving over time as the expectations and needs of users grow, these applications must be adapted to all types of companies. The present work is based on the management that Ferrimar hardware store handles for the control of its inventory, given that the information it has is fully manual, prone to human error and loss of information. It also focuses on controlling access to data and modules through roles and user permissions, thus encapsulating sensitive and confidential information. The Progressive Web Application was developed with the Angular framework in its version 13.3.9, which is based on the TypeScript language and has a great variety of libraries to dynamize the frontend development. On the other hand, the backend was developed with NodeJS in version 16.15.1 with which it was possible to establish a reliable and robust server with immediate responses and direct communication to the MySQL Workbench 8.0 database server. The methodology applied for the present project was Extreme Programming (XP), since being of agile type it responds quickly to the changes with the requirements of the client necessary to establish the correct operation of the application in development. The system facilitates the correct management of quantities and prices of products within the Ferrimar hardware store, thus minimizing errors made by employees and reducing costs in processes such as logistics and commerce.

    Currently there are different types of applications that have been developed in accordance with new technologies, this is how Progressive Web Applications arose that adapt to any type of mobile device or computer since they are the combination of web and native applications. In this research project, a Progressive Web Application was implemented in charge of the control and monitoring of the Human Resources processes for the employees of the Electric Company Ambato Regional Centro Norte SA, as well as the process that was carried out to comply with the objectives in addition to determining the requirements by applying an interview and survey that was tabulated to carry out their respective analysis. The application is developed under the standards of the good practices of the company and based on the Manual of Programming Standards and the Software Development Policies, additionally through a study of development methodologies, an Agile was applied such as XP The Angular framework was used that facilitated the creation of a Progressive Web Application since it has its own library in addition to using the Bootstrap and CSS library to improve the design and allow it to be a responsive application, the services are API type RESTful under the Eclipse IDE making a connection to the Oracle WebLogic Server 12c application server that makes the requests to the Oracle 19c database.
