Healthcare, as a critical global industry, must integrate these new technologies to offer enhanced automated services and ensure secure information management. Therefore, adopting digital medical records to effectively register and monitor vital patient information is crucial. The aim of this research project is to develop a web application focused on addressing the challenges posed by paper-based management of dental records and appointments. This includes scheduling appointments, managing patients, users, and dentists. This system aims to streamline the search process for patient records and their associated information. Additionally, it organizes dental appointments to prevent scheduling conflicts and reduce waiting times at the establishment. The methodology employed in the project combined the strengths of Agile RAD methodology, facilitating continuous software deliveries to the client for ongoing user feedback, with Kanban's user story advantages for task execution across phases: backlog, in progress, and completed. Iterations were assigned with corresponding tasks, covering interface design, database development, and application implementation. Effective control within organizations enables them to maintain leadership in their industry and make informed decisions. The project's purpose is to create a progressive web application that facilitates the determination of production costs for stone materials at "ALVARADO ORTIZ CONSTRUCTORES" in Ambato. This is due to a deficient identification in obtaining these costs. The implementation of the progressive web application has not only optimized the identification of these costs but has also improved the processing times required to determine them, allowing efficient production management. For the development of the progressive web application, the Open Source Angular framework was employed, using TypeScript as the programming language. This implementation effectively facilitated the development of functionalities in the project. Additionally, the ASP.NET Core framework was used as the backend, enabling proper handling of HTTP request traffic. SQL Server was chosen as the database. The applied methodology was XP, providing adequate control over the activities outlined in the proposal. The present work is based on the management that Ferrimar hardware store handles for the control of its inventory, given that the information it has is fully manual, prone to human error and loss of information. It also focuses on controlling access to data and modules through roles and user permissions, thus encapsulating sensitive and confidential information. The Progressive Web Application was developed with the Angular framework in its version 13.3.9, which is based on the TypeScript language and has a great variety of libraries to dynamize the frontend development. On the other hand, the backend was developed with NodeJS in version 16.15.1 with which it was possible to establish a reliable and robust server with immediate responses and direct communication to the MySQL Workbench 8.0 database server. The methodology applied for the present project was Extreme Programming (XP), since being of agile type it responds quickly to the changes with the requirements of the client necessary to establish the correct operation of the application in development. Carrera de Ingeniería en Sistemas Computacionales e Informáticos, 2023-03) Rubira Ramírez, Génesis Noemi; Buenaño Valencia, Edwin HernandoSoccer has transcended since ancient times and with the passage of time it has become one of the most popular sports at different levels, such as: sports, enter tainment, social and economic; Due to this popularity, there is a large number of people who are passionate about being soccer players, so one of its fundamen tal pillars is the search for new talents, which has been evolving and improving, however, currently this process generates certain limitations in regarding the ma nagement of the information of each participant and the time they have to develop their tests, thus limiting their performance; This is why the idea of the present project entitled "Website for the management of the recruitment and selection of soccer players in the city of Ambato" arises with the purpose of optimizing resources and time of both soccer clubs and applicants at the time to carry out the selection and recruitment process through the implementation of a website. This project was developed with the client-server architecture; the client part (front-end) is developed in Visual Studio Code with the angular js framework; the server (back-end) is a rest api for which various technologies have been imple mented, starting mainly with node.js and express.js for its creation and adding libraries, tools and dependencies such as sequelize for database management, mul ter and ffprobe for the management of video and image files and node-cron for the scheduled tasks that the system requires. In the global context, the technological component has become indispensable in any type of industry. For example, electric service providers make use of information systems both for controlling their stations and managing internal personnel processes. In this research project, an automated system is required to speed up the application development process. The purpose of electric service providers is to improve their economic performance by providing this service with wide geographic coverage. Everything revolves around this component, since it is a fundamental indicator in any type of business. However, to achieve this goal it is necessary to analyze, design, improve, automate and strengthen internal processes so that the workflow is optimal, in addition to reducing software maintenance times. The current research proposed to streamline the software development process through a Source Code Generator. This generator is built according to the development standards established in Empresa Eléctrica Ambato Regional Centro Norte S.A. In this institution, IT areas have been defined for each department that constitutes the company, being the professional developers the main beneficiaries of the system to be implemented.The application is implemented in Angular for the front end and Java for the back end. It is done under these technologies because they are the most widely used within the company, in addition, most of the existing web modules are mounted under these technologies. This research project focuses on optimizing the management of clinical records in the Municipal Board of the city of Latacunga, and thus improve the quality of service to patients of this institution, guaranteeing that the regulations of the National Health System are complied with regarding confidentiality of patient information. For the development of the web application, several current technologies were used, the same ones that are kept updated to the latest stable versions, which guarantees that the application maintains high security standards of the frameworks used, in addition to security strategies and patterns. used in the programming code. The web application is created under the client server architecture, in which the backend system has been developed with the Node.js execution environment using the express framework with a connection to two databases, the first is the database of the clinical histories application while the second is the database of the current accounting system used in the institution.
