Through the evaluation of the individual and social needs of the affected subjects. The social worker can closely collaborate with educators, authorities, parents and the multidisciplinary team of the student counseling department, to develop effective strategies that improve the academic performance and emotional well-being of students related to this problem. To address this problem, it is essential to understand and know what ADHD means and what exactly it englobes, how it affects to the ones who have it; also, how it affects their life and social quality besides the affections on the educational and individual development, specifically referring to the academic context. since it is in this branch where the greatest conflicts arise, talking about their evolution and academic performance. The objective of this research was to determine the influence of the role of the social worker inthe approach of students with ADHD, identifying the role that social work plays, defining its intervention and approach processes typical of this profession, in addition to propose an alternative solution related to the topic. This was of bibliography and field type research with a descriptive and correlational level of research, applying the analytical - synthetic and hypothetical - deductive methodology. For the systematization of this research, a mixed approach will be used, understanding that, throughout the entire research and information analysis process, the qualitative and quantitativeapproach was used simultaneously, to achieve effective obtaining of data and no information for the continuation and formulation of the hypothesis presented as the basis of this research. There was a standard sample of 115 professionals from different fields; these subjects were taken as part of the sample independently of any other indicator or condition such as: sex, gender, social situation, family situation, economic situation, situation. culture, ethnicity, ideologies or religion. From this sample, the presented result explained and used to describe, deduce and explain this research were obtained
