Item Control parental y el uso del internet en los adolescentes de la Unidad Educativa "Pichincha" de la Ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2017-06) Miranda Castro, Cinthia Nataly; Ortiz Díaz, Marcelo IvanThe present research project was developed with the purpose of evaluating the parental control and internet use in adolescents at the Unidad Educativa "Pichincha".In this research, surveys were applied, which were addressed to 69 students of the mentioned institution, vital data was collected to facilitate the field research, as well as the support of 7 teachers who currently provide their services at the institution. Through the relevant statistical analysis, the results indicated that students have little supervision by adults and that they visit all types of web page, there are no virtual protection measures that keep and guide the adolescent, the teachers' responses were analyzed and they showed that they have weak knowledge of the students when they enter on Internet, for the academic process they use as a tool of knowledge search, web pages and blogs that allow the student to know a wider virtual world, allowing them to learn from various topics that are Academic. It is vital for the monitoring of activities of students using the Internet to apply techniques that allow a rapprochement with the adolescent in order to know and be a guide in the topic of Technologies and Internet, a methodology should be used that allows the student to be guided dynamically to obtain knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages that the internet offers. The techniques or tools used are the use of teaching materials, crafts, dance therapy are activities that allow working on all the physical and mental skills of older adults, however, in this study new activities were implemented to include the use of devices. mobile phones so that older adults are not left behind or isolated in the digital world. The objective of the research is to analyze the use of mobile devices in occupational therapy with older adults. The study is mixed in nature. The quantitative part was worked with two groups from the Bolívar and Benítez parishes, with a total of 40 older adults belonging to the canton of San Pedro de Pelileo and qualitatively, 10 older adults were interviewed to obtain in-depth information. The levels used were descriptive, correlational, and exploratory, each with its own synthetic, inductive-deductive and systematization analytical methods. The instrument applied was self-developed and consists of 6 sociodemographic questions and a bank of 12 questions divided into 5 sections that measure the level of satisfaction, participation, emotional and perception of occupational therapy. In addition, an interview of 3 questions was carried out with 10 older adults and 3 questions with the educators. For the interrelation of data, a semantic map was developed that consists of the triangulation of results which provides a clearer vision of the before and after. of use. of mobile devices in older adults. Although emotional and economic barriers influenced the adoption and continuity of the use of technology in activities. The results showed that the use of mobile devices and interactive applications can help keep the mind active and improve the quality of life of older adults
