    El desempleo y la calidad de vida de las familias durante la pandemia Covid -19

    The Covid-19 pandemic affects almost 170,000 people in 148 countries and has caused more than 6,500 deaths and could infect a large part of the world population. According to various estimates, the proportion of the world population that could be infected ranges between 40 and 70%. Affecting labor in the reduction of economic activity and restrictions on the movement of people affect both the industrial and services sectors. The purpose of the research has as a general objective to identify how unemployment affects the quality of life of families during the Covid-19 pandemic. Obtaining as results and conclusions that the quality of many families has been affected in different areas such as health, education, economic activities, food, many have lost their businesses, their jobs. Unemployment since the beginning of the pandemic was affected by the quarantine, the spread of the virus worldwide caused many businesses to close their doors permanently, leaving millions of people without a job, the economy and health were the main causes of unemployment in Ecuador and the world. Ecuador was one of the countries hardest hit by the coronavirus epidemic and has gone from having families asking someone to pick up their dead from their homes, to relatives begging for their return.
