Item Factores de riesgo de deserción escolar durante la pandemia (Covid-19) en la Unidad Educativa "12 de Noviembre" del cantón Píllaro.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2021-10) Calderón Ruiz, Lizbeth Estefanía; Naranjo Ruiz, Viviana FidenciaABSTRACT: This research focuses on the risk factors forschool dropout produced by the pandemic and isolation by Covid-19 that affects the education sector since several teaching centers were forced to physically close and opt for the virtual learning modality to protect health of students and teachers. The main objective is to investigate the factors and risk of school dropout during the pandemic (Covid-19) in the Educational Unit "12 de Noviembre". For this, thedescriptive-correlational method was used with a quantitative approach methodology,using the "Questionnaire on school dropout" previously validated and designed by Sancho Álvarez & Grau Vidal (2013) and adapted to this research as a unit of validation of the variables of research: factors and risk of school dropout during the pandemic (Covid-19). The results obtained indicate that in-school and out-of-school factors influence the riskof school dropout. The economic situation, the support and accompaniment of parentsare determining factors to access or not the new virtual education system.To avoid the risk of school dropout, the family is required to be significantly involvedin the academic training of students in the current educational system. Link society through the university community, providing targeted tutorials, intending to train students and parents in addition, as a proposal. The case of” Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales “from “Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Ecuador”. The main objective of this research is to identify the gender determinants, and the support received for the students to remain in the faculty. A mixed research approach was used. Attempts were made to investigate the support received by the student mothers as a possible reconciliation to the problem, resulting in the almost entirely mother students receiving support from their families to complete their university studies.Item Unificación de instituciones educativas y deserción escolar en los niños y niñas de la Unidad Educativa Chunchi, del Cantón Chunchi de la Provincia de Chimborazo(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2017-11) Aguirre Rea, Paola Jessenia; Cisneros Parra, Pablo EnriqueThe present research project consists of the process of unification of educational institutions and their human involvement, hence the interest of the development of the present research in the Chunchi Educational Unit that tries to extend the perspective of the problems that have been evidenced and presented Within the educational institution, since it has directly affected resulting in school dropout in children, first being exposed to a different process without any adaptation; Second because they do not have transportation to move to the institution and integration to the new institution. The research is based on the critical propositional model, critical because it is based on a social reality, and educational and propositive because it presents an objective that is to propose alternative solutions to school dropout. The research shows the reality that children live inside and outside the institution and as well as the social and cultural problem of being in a new environment, transportation and the time involved in arriving at the institution, coupled with their colleagues and teachers . Based on these difficulties in this process, we propose a training program focused on school drop-out that will improve the coexistence, behavior and performance in the educational field in the Chunchi Educational Unit, dedicated to work in a comprehensive way and to reduce dropout rates and Get a quality education.
