Item Funcionalidad Familiar En Adolescentes Embarazadas Institucionalizadas(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2022-01) Rodríguez Torres, Evelyn Geovanna; Campoverde Quijano, Egda MaribelAdolescent pregnancy is undoubtedly an important social problem, since the number of cases is increasing. For this reason, it is important to know the root of said problem, therefore, this problem will be approached from the context to which each adolescent belonged, before their institutionalization; the family. The objective of this study is: To analyze the family functionality and institutionalization of pregnant adolescents. The methodology had a purely qualitative approach, where we worked with the application of Life Stories, in order to know the family dynamics to which the adolescents belonged, considering the biographical-narrative method, in order to perceive the details exposed by the adolescents in each of their stories, the family APGAR was used in the same way, to contrast what was mentioned by the adolescents. As for the patterns of social behavior, they will be the line of investigation. Each of the details provided by the adolescents in the gestation stage were of great help for this research, the treatment of the information, the Social Work techniques developed and the exhaustive analysis applied, will reach the following conclusion: The family constitutes the base of the human being, since it is where the individual finds his identity and a sense of belonging genuine, which allows his holistic development in all its forms. This significant group is in charge of providing stability, containment, support, affection, balance and providing norms, rules, limits and good communication among its members, so that each member that makes it up can feel part of and achieve their developing. If one of its members is affected, it affects the entire system, which is why it must be gradually modified and seek coping strategies, to be carried out in the face of unexpected events such as an unwanted pregnancy. Cabe mencionar que la educación no está solo en el hogar sino también en la institución educativa donde estudie la persona, el docente deberá dar apertura a información de sexualidad. Hasta el 2010 Latino América se registraron la tercera mayor tasa de fecundidad adolescente en el mundo, 72 nacimientos por cada 1.000 mujeres de entre 15 y 19 años y en los últimos años la cifra no tiende a la baja, según un estudio realizado por el Banco Mundial. El Ecuador como el sexto país con la tasa más alta de embarazo adolescente en América Latina y el Caribe. La actividad sexual cada vez comienza a una edad más temprana, actualmente se maneja el dato desde los 12 años, entonces es necesario preguntarnos y empezar a investigar el por qué los jóvenes deciden tener relaciones sexuales. Dentro del grado de embarazo los adolescentes que se encontraban estudiando el 80 % de varones y mujeres si continúan con sus estudios, pero la mayoría no se centra directamente a estudiar por un simple motivo “él bebe en camino”, esa es la razón que el promedio estudiantil será gravemente afectado y ahí se producirá la llamada deserción escolar. Sería bueno empezar a educar a los padres de cómo iniciar una plática sin tabúes, ni miedos, y también el docente deberá buscar métodos de enseñanza siempre y cuando no sean de difícil comprensión para el adolescente.
