    Implicaciones socio-familiares en el cuidador del adulto mayor

    This research project is focused on identifying the socio-family implications in adult caregivers in order to help establish the degree of family functionality and the psychological pattern of the caregiver. The research has a qualitative approach, it is a descriptive study and a cross-sectional design. The instruments were applied: FAMILY APGAR questionnaire, Goldberg test, semi-structured interview with sociodemographic data, family functionality and psychological pattern of the caregiver. In conclusions, there was a considerable group of caregivers who have severe family dysfunction, with high levels of anxiety and depression, which is why the proposal is made to create a caregivers club where these people are given timely follow-up.
