Análisis de la vestimenta de la Chagra Warmi, símbolo de cultura y mestizaje

For many years the Chacarera culture has been the subject of study having as center of attention the Promenade of the Chagra and the Chagra as protagonist of the culture and of which a series of studies have been deployed. However, the woman has been considered in the social aspect as the representative of the beauty Chacarera but has not been the subject of studies in depth which has led to that the information of this character is limited to a serious of small stories and some Mentions in the books that study the culture Chacarera. To delve into the study of the Chagra Warmi as a representative of the women of Culture the present research project shows an analysis of the clothing of the Chagra warmi, symbol of culture and crossbreeding within the Canton Mejía and in the Ecuadorian Highlands , for which it was considered the most representative elements of garments that make up the attire of this character's gala to perform a recreation using the results of the visual analysis applied in the study of clothing, through anthropology Visual and a clothing analysis based on the basics of design to extract information about the details for the recreation of the costume from the oldest evidence found and information that was obtained by investigating the collective memory where this Character unfolds and has had its development through the years in which the Chacarera culture has begun with its rise and recognition at the national level, this project is carried out with the purpose of maintaining the significance of the clothing of the Chagra Warmi Present in society.

One of the problems that is seen is the ignorance of the people in general of the canton Píllaro about the original design of the costume of the "Diablada Pillareña is a negative aspect for the population and future generations, then through research seeks to comply with the planted objectives. Collect the social context of the costume history of "devil". Investigate the historical evolution of the devil costume of the Diablada Pillareña through historical analysis. Establish through a devil costume design the garments and their evolution. For this it is important to look for the necessary information that bases the two study variables, as well as the use of an appropriate methodology with the methodological approaches, the basic modalities of research, field and bibliography, levels and types of research, population and sample. the same as through a data collection instrument will find enough arguments with the survey aimed at students of the race, cultural manifestation participants, historian who contributes with their arguments, this technique will serve as a background to raise the proposal in this case design a devil costume through a historical analysis based on the photographic survey that can provide real, true information about what the original costume was like, in conclusion it can be said that in the last decades there is an evolution of the suit which does not allow maintaining the true culture and identity of the diablada pillareña, being indispensable to design a dress that is the model attached to the characteristics of the costume when this cultural manifestation originated.

Aplicación de materiales alternativos en la elaboración de accesorios

This research project refers to the fusion of non-traditional materials applied to a collection of costume jewelery accessories, to create innovative proposals through the reuse of remnants of indigenous bands or also called chumbis that are combined with already established materials of costume jewelery to promote a market that is more aware of the pollution produced by the textile industry. In addition, it is projected to manual work, innovating in techniques to get the most out of the transformation of the raw material through non-polluting processes. It seeks to offer an alternative that adapts to new fashion trends that are more eco-friendly and sustainable, so that people have a favorable social conscience towards handmade products, with cultural identity and sense of belonging. The study of the differences that exist between jewelery design and jewelery design is proposed, both in materials and concepts, since although jewelery is born as an imitation of jewelery, over time it has been adapted. The types of waste are also studied according to their composition and an analysis of the indigenous bands since they are a fundamental part of the Ecuadorian Andean clothing that are a source of information and knowledge of the worldview. Through a quantitative investigation of women from Ambato between 20 and 35 years old, it was possible to determine the tastes, preferences and demands of the target audience, likewise it was possible to conclude that the predominant occasion of use of accessories is for special events or social gatherings as the case may be.
Aprovechamiento de las fibras de alpaca y oveja para accesorios de moda para mujeres de 20 a 35 años

Natural fibers have their origins since ancient times, each gender has been studied according to its discovery, in the case of alpaca fiber, the animal comes from South America, according to its maintenance and the breed the textile with this fiber it is considered fine and of high quality thanks to its properties. The sheep has its Spanish origins since the existing sheep in the Latin American countries are from the European continent, this fiber is recognized by its length and in some places it can be found in different colors. The present investigation is based on the study of fibers that have a certain similarity in their properties and in the possibility of mixing these two fibers since during the investigation no felt was found made with sheep wool and alpaca hair. In some companies they mix natural fibers with synthetic fibers, but that does not mean that the damage to the ecosystem changes, since the chemical components applied in the generation of these textiles affect in any way, either in its manufacture or in its use, in Many users acquire these products to lower costs or unconscious of the damage they are causing. The elaboration of this project is indispensable since with this investigation it is contributing with a mixture never before seen, mainly in the elaboration of felt, considering also that this material is a nonwoven that for its artisan elaboration does not require chemical components harmful to the Planet Earth, and is also a contribution to the area of fashion design since this textile can be considered an alternative applicable in clothing and fashion accessories that is one of the main objectives.

The development of a textile genre from nettle stems is approached because in the region, plants of the urtica genus are mainly used in naturopathic and/or ancestral medicine, but not as a material for textile production in the fashion industry, which is wasted as an alternative ecological raw material. This field research conducted a morphological study of the nettle stalk in the areas of Ambato and Cayambe, as well as interviews with textile experts in order to establish whether the nettle stalk has adequate characteristics to generate a textile applicable in fashion, resulting in a positive development. The proposal applies the retting method to extract the fibers from the stalk. In the formation of the yarn and weaving, the process of wool weaving is taken as a reference; the final product is a flat fabric with a mixture of nettle and wool fibers.

The present research emphasizes ecological fashion, through the design of equipment with a focus on sustainability, which allows rescuing artisan techniques in the development of accessories, with the application of natural materials, within which the fiber of the banana stem as the main element for the manufacture and manufacture of products within the textile field, so that in the future, it allows the creation of employment opportunities and minimizes environmental pollution, helping various artisan sectors within Ecuador. In addition, it allows to improve the quality of life of the people and to present quality and innovative products with conventional proposals with a handmade touch. The importance of this project lies in making accessories with the combination wind fiber in combination with other textile materials, using friendly resources. The bag is an accessory used since time immemorial, and is the result of the need of people for transport items from one place to another. A means of transport and a way to help, maintain and subsist. While today, in addition, it is the result of constant change and modernization. It has become a fundamental piece of the feminine attire that can denote confidence, joy, way of life. The accessories are closely linked to the wardrobe and is a means for social and personal interrelation. In addition, we seek the constant transport of personal items and we hope that is balanced with environmental care and our own style. Therefore, the present project focuses on the design of handbags applying tissue techniques with cabuya, aimed at women from 25 to 30 years of age in the city of Ambato; due to the lack of innovation of the accessories in the Ecuadorian market, in addition, the need to contribute to the environment. Above all, rescue the techniques of both flat and knitted fabrics that give the accessory a purely artisanal detail. Stressing the richness that the product made by hand add to the product. Likewise, research is carried out to help determine the appropriate product according to the context, through techniques such as surveys, interviews; with the purpose of offering innovative and quality products products that meet the needs of women. The objective of this project is to develop a specialized safety suit for the personnel who provide their services in the electrical area of the company Symelek. It will be carried out through field visits with an analysis based on the Likert scale, obtaining as a result the needs of the personnel of the mentioned area. This will provide the necessary information to analyze through cards, the feasibility of suitable textiles for handling and ergonomics in the electrical area; it will be based on ANSI, UNE EN, ISO 2000, INEN standards and certifications that must be met to perform this activity. The design will be elaborated by means of sketches and flat drawings. The compilation of all the information will lead to the completion of color cards, production routes, unit costs and wholesale, providing a new area of work for the association of textile production dreamers of my homeland (ASOSOPAT) that will give life to the study carried out.
Diseño de indumento gastronómico y su aplicación con textil inteligente

In the city of Ambato the profession of chef or culinary arts has grown, it is currently attractive to universities that have seen an academic opportunity for many young people, generating sources of entrepreneurship and business, one of the drawbacks that affects this corporation is because the supply of clothing is reduced, obsolete, of poor quality and inadequate raw material, which is why the gastronomic clothing does not fulfill the function of providing comfort, safety and quality, qualities necessary to improve work performance, reduce occupational hazards in each area and intensify the use of a uniform in this area. The gastronomic clothing has a great demand of which the percentages are the following of traditional uniforms with 80%, 17% modern suits and diverse radical interpretations with 3%. By offering quality gastronomic clothing that meets the needs of professionals, the aim is to improve the safety of the user, provide comfort and convenience, so that they can better develop the work, taking into account the requirements of the uniforms by the chefs, The aim is to generate proposals with intelligent textiles that are stain resistant to eliminate dirt, flame retardant to provide greater protection, antibacterial to prevent the development of microorganisms or accumulation of odors, breathable to avoid creating discomfort, all these conditions will help the garments to increase their added value. Currently, the most used fabrics for gastronomic apparel are repel fabric, which is made of 100% polyester with a water repellent finish, linen with a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton and finally a 100% cotton gabardine, which varies from 120 to 240 grams depending on the garment, which do not meet the specifications and certifications of the AATCC 100: 2019 in relation to antimicrobial fabrics and UNE-EN ISO 11612:2015 standard based has protective clothing against heat and flame. Finally, by using smart fabrics, what has been achieved is that the requirements of chefs are taken into account, thus providing a different gastronomic clothing option that meets the specifications and needs of professionals in the aforementioned branch.

The present project is aimed at women in gestation, the nonconformity that is generated by wearing inappropriate clothing and the little or no existing design, making this stage of women not highly valued. In carrying out the research, the needs of pregnant women have been proven by not being able to find garments that fit, fit and keep their body safe for all the physical and emotional changes they undergo during this phase, such as: body weight gain in Abdomen, widening of the hips, insecurity about your body and frequent changes of mood. When experiencing all these changes do not use rough clothes, small sizes, with inadequate textiles as certain discomforts arise such as: skin irritations, poor circulation, fatigue, discomfort and insecurity of the pregnant woman. This research compiled information and found that the group to which it has been directed, has great acceptance of the product because it is a market that has not yet been very exploited, there is not much competition for the scarcity of textile factories dedicated to the marketing of Lingerie for pregnant women that seek to enjoy healthy, in an adequate and comfortable way the gestation process in all its stages, feeling security, well-being, confidence and sensuality by wearing new clothes, with style and elegance before your partner and with yourself. To carry out this project, it is also a great business opportunity, which will be responsible for meeting the unmet demand that exists in this market sector, contributing to the development in apparel manufacture and Ecuadorian underwear fashion.

This project is focused on providing a contribution that benefits the environment and reduces the polluting impact produced by the accumulation of certain waste materials that can be reused. Proposing as main objective the preparation of fantasy costumes for participation in events typical of cantonal festivities such as party proclamations, or possible queens' elections, these costumes will be carried out through the application of manual weaving techniques with the use of recycling material. For which a bibliographic compilation was made for later analysis and interpretation, the tastes and preferences of the target group were also determined in relation to different aspects concerning fantasy costumes, as well as the materials, events to which they are addressed and budget of the suits mentioned above. Finally, all the information obtained was analyzed and applied to this project because the preferences of the respondents are assessed in order to have the necessary tools and criteria to be able to structure several design proposals that are in line with the market requirements. Therefore it can be seen that each of the designs takes essential factors in which it is evidenced that the use of unconventional materials in this type of clothing constitutes a differentiating tool in this type of products, resulting in a friendly clothing with the environment. The progress of the research, proposal and validation of the work is carried out in conjunction with qualified teachers and fashion designers who determine the effectiveness of the final result.

The idea of this project comes from a need to take as a target audience an urban tribe that has developed and expanded greatly in recent years with the help of the internet and globalization, making them a potential market with great strength, however due to the traditionalist thinking of the city of Ambato and the ignorance about these by the general public, they become a wasting local market, an.d with members they are forced to acquire their products in other cities and countries Throughout this project, the objective is to implement a cosplay clothing brand, taking into account the needs found by a study of the target audience, based on their tastes, trends and the level of quality requested by the client. The fundamental information for the project will be obtained by working directly with representatives of the cosplay community, using surveys and interviews with specialists and the target audience, carrying out a general analysis with the information present to make them essential to the essence of the brand. Through the study of real cases, with their respective information collection methods, it was possible to verify the real needs at the local level and the new trends within the urban tribes of young people who form the target group, these being the ones that affirm that, although modern society is more empathetic, there are still large traditional sectors that are completely unaware of them, minimizing their needs and in most cases completely ignoring them, which is why the existence of a specialized fashion brand can offer high quality clothing cosplay is highly novel and profitable. El diseño pensado como arte: Análisis de trajes de pasarela

The world is full of mass production, which generates commercial and disposable goods. Instead, there are Haute Couture brands that attempt to overcome that kind of production, but they are fading away due to the demand and low costs. High fashion houses, are trying to keep the spirit of what truly “Fashion Design” means. At the beginning, being a tailor was all you needed to make garments; dressmaking only belonged to those who knew how to sew, but in the Twentieth Century, that changed, and it now belongs to specialists that take care of the exclusive, unique and creativity of a piece of clothing. A problem appears, because in the educational system, nowadays, they do not teach Fashion Design in a creative way, but in a profitable way instead. This research project mainly studies bizarre runway looks, which are a proof that art exists within design. These two disciplines are in dispute, because they apparently chase different objectives. Anyway, Haute Couture garments show themselves as a space of dialogue between inspiration and lucrative. The charm that cloths from Fashion Weeks worldwide, especially from Haute Couture lines, developed a platform, in which fashion and design complement each other. This platform emerges in Ecuador with a magazine, where important information is displayed in a conclusive way, deeply analyzed and presenting photographs of eight looks that expresses important characteristics which are the foundation of the whole investigation project. Finally, the launch of the magazine entitled: “Design understood as Art”, changes the perspective of Ecuadorian design members that are involved in a lucrative world, in this way they might be able to stop the supremacy of foreign brands in the country.

The present project integrates and analyzes the development of bags with the use of textile remnants, is developed with the desire to recycle and reuse textile materials for the manufacture of bags, promoting the development of good environmental practices, the main objective is to design a collection of bags with the use of textile remnants to contribute to environmental care, for which a bibliographic compilation of the main terms related to the topic raised was made in order to deepen knowledge, in addition to the tastes and preferences of women between the ages of 20 and 28 years of the city of Ambato of a low and low social class that interests the conservation of the environment, in the same way we analyzed the prices at the international level of companies that are engaged in the production of handbags. According to the quantitative data presented by the surveys, preferences regarding the design of the bag were determined, in order to know the inclinations that the market requires. The information collected by the sample was chosen in the design of a collection of bags with the use of remnants, which shows that the market is interested in products that have reusable materials, likewise it was observed that most women are willing To consume handbags made with remnants because it is an accessory essence in the life of modern women, what is sought in this type of products is to recycle and reuse the remnants to minimize pollution with the environment, making consumers aware.
Estudio de prendas y remanentes de la confección para la elaboración de indumentaria

In Order to help the environment currently is given by the clothing modifications and the use of textile remnants, this contribute to the integral protection and prevent the environment pollution. Many times, the clothing can not be taken advantage of appropriate as the great importance of fashion, and at the same time it could be useful in order to satisfy the needs of people. Nowadays reusing clothing, it can helps the impact at environment, as the product can be taken advantage of and it can have a long useful life. To elaborate of fashion proposal, we will collect first clothing item at flea market where it can choose the good clothing items to make the brand new clothing item. In this point, it will need to be washed and in that way all the clothing must be very clean in order to reuse, it will select all the waste textile in decent condition and then it join them. Next step is to begin to make the new clothing, it join the pieces and finally, clothing will be ironed and then this needs to pass a quality control of a very well made production. In conclusion, this project can be very important through this method to protect the environment, because with clothing modification it will get innovation and will help to do not buy new fabric, in addition it will create a new item clothing with waste remnants textile, which it will have a useful life.

One of the approaches of this research project is the reduction of polluting waste from canine hairdressers and wastewater in the production of felts. It is known that the polluting waters produced by the fashion industry have a great impact due to the use of harmful chemicals to clean impurities from the fibers, for that reason a sustainable alternative was thought to continue with the development but going hand in hand with the care of the environment The fashion industry generates both solid and liquid waste that is released directly into nature, most of the time without having an adequate purification treatment, all this due to the advances that have been made in the fibers that have mutated even to the micro organisms that contaminate them. In a similar way it is the case of the waste of the canine hairdressers, unfortunately in Latin America there is no proper waste management or at least classification of them, so these organic remains go to the same place with all kinds of garbage without being able to be processed correctly. To reduce at least a part of this tireless pollution to the planet, we want to make an innovative use of the dog's coat; after a transformation it will go from being simple dog hair motes to becoming a textile base applicable in fashion accessories.

The fashion of children has been gaining momentum in recent years, parents are looking for their children not only look good, but also each of the garments they carry have added value in either design, textile, color, etc. For which the present project not only seeks to manage a style of its own but to impregnate in each of its garments an autonomous identity of the region focusing on what the consumer seeks. In order to carry out the present project and the creation of "ethnic clothing for 2-6 year old girls with embroidery and pattern techniques of the region", an analysis of the culture of the city is carried out in a timeline of the "Yesterday-Today" without leaving aside the tastes and preferences of the consumer and what is wanted to emphasize the ethnicity of the region. Taking as reference that the ethnic garments in clothing change the focus of fashion in other countries becoming the key point of traction and culture of the same, unlike Ecuador where indigenous people are who maintain what is culture And tradition, what is wanted is to incorporate through the embroidery and prints the ambateña identity in daily clothes and that you can carry them in all kinds of occasion leaving aside the plagiarism of TV characters or cartoons and, Promoting a natural taste and self-esteem of the region
