Item Sistema electrónico dosificador de pastillas para controlar la administración de medicamentos en pacientes con Alzheimer mediante tecnología IOT(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería en Electrónica y Comunicaciones, 2022-03) Espín Morales, Rodrigo Iván; Córdova Córdova, Edgar PatricioThe purpose of this research project is to generate a dosing system, which allows to notify the medication supply schedules to relatives or persons in charge of Alzheimer's patients automatically, through a web and mobile application. The selection of medications and the supply schedules provided by medical prescription are entered into the system through a mobile application, developed in Android study, allowing the autonomy of the system. Its maximum storage capacity is 90 pills, which can be supplied in a period of three months, since consumption schedules are every 24 hours according to medical treatment. This system is developed with free hardware and software, since the device's functionality is developed in the NodeMCU-32 microcontroller, which is programmed in the Arduino IDE. Connecting with the mobile application through a database belonging to the Firebase server, hosted on the Google Cloud platform, in which the web interface is stored. This allows the visualization of the history of the taking of medicine of the patient with Alzheimer's. Access to the system is based on the registration of an email and password provided by users, this information is stored in Firebase, which is responsible for encrypting the data providing security with the personal information of patients who use the dosing system. This project was tested by two families for a period of fifteen days each, generating 100% efficiency, since it does not show any activation error when generating alerts to the linked devices, it also provides security to the people in charge of provide the medicine as it has an energy backup in case of electrical failure.
