Carrera de Ingeniería en Electrónica y Comunicaciones, 2021-08) Jiménez Marín, Javier Santiago; Benalcázar Palacios, Freddy GeovannyThis research project focuses on the implementation of a primary care teleconsultation for the elderly, which was developed from the difficulty that older adults present when attending a face-to-face medicine service. The system consists of a stage with equipment for primary care which has e-Health sensors such as: blood pressure, digital scale, oximetry, heart pulse, body temperature, in addition the Teleconsultory has a digital glucometer to acquire the glucose level in the patient's blood. These are sent to a central server located in the cloud specifically Google Cloud where they are standardized and found in data understandable for a medical specialist then they are stored in a MySQL database these data are represented by a graphical interface in HTML code for reading and subsequent diagnosis. Each patient has their medical history in database and only medical personnel can access the patient data. The adoption of cloud-based technologies further streamlines this implementation with the prescription of digital prescriptions and patient monitoring. The Teleconsultory provides primary care to elderly patients, providing non-face-toface medical care in real time, thus avoiding physical contact and reducing the risk of contagion in the face of the spread of Covid-19, in addition to other benefits such as reduction in costs of transportation, ease of access to a doctor and improvement of the quality of care for the elderly.
