    Sistema de tracking en competencias atléticas mediante posicionamiento global asistido

    ABSTRACT The research work is aimed at the implementation of a Monitoring System in Athletic Competitions Through Assisted Global Positioning. To meet this objective, the types of athletic competitions to which this system can be oriented are first analyzed, the characteristics of each one are determined and through a comparative selection the competition, that best suits the characteristics of the device. At the end of the competency analysis, the types of components that are currently used in the control of the participants begin to be identified and the advantages and disadvantages of these systems based on the competency in question are analyzed. With the above data, we proceed to design a control system that allows to have a deeper knowledge of the route followed by the participants throughout the competition that can replace the current systems and with this design we proceed to, by means of a comparative, acquire the necessary equipment for the system. Finally, the connections and performance tests are carried out to debug programming and services that the device provides to its users to result in a device that is mobile and easy to place without being invasive for the athlete and that complies with the rules established by the regulations of said competition.
