Item Sistema electrónico de monitoreo de mascotas para la gestión de clínicas veterinarias utilizando VOIP e IOT(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería en Electrónica y Comunicaciones, 2022-03) León Troya, Yulissa Cecibel; Manzano Villafuerte, Víctor SantiagoIn the present research project, an electronic pet monitoring system is implemented for the management of veterinary clinics using VOIP and IOT and thus carry out an adequate management and control of the data obtained from a vital signs measuring device and through an application. Natively developed in React. The electronic monitoring system consists of 3 levels such as the acquisition and transmission of vital signs, information management and monitoring and hosting in the cloud, which are executed as follows: for the acquisition and transmission of data, the information of vital signs of the pet is collected through an electronic control device designed in a chest that owners commonly use to walk their pets, this information is sent through a Bluetooth module, for information management the data is received in the mobile device through the application developed in pure React Native with native specifications for devices with Android or iOS systems, this application contains a login system connected to a MYSQL database installed in CLOUD of Amazon Web Services hosting all information of the pet in the cloud, also contains a management system for veterinary doctors manage their clinics in a faster and more functional way, then the data received is transmitted to the Asterisk server hosted on AWS that alerts the pet owner with the VOIP service about any anomaly detected in the measurement of their pet's data. This project is based on contributing to the management of veterinary clinics by managing data in a simpler, faster and more efficient way, monitoring the health status of pets in real time and supporting the early detection of diseases in smallspecies animals.Item Sistema electrónico de rehabilitación para personas que padecen la enfermedad neuropática de parálisis facial periférica(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería en Electrónica y Comunicaciones, 2021-09) Ortega Toapanta, Carlos Guido; Ayala Baño, Elizabeth PaulinaThe development of this research aims to make a peripheral facial paralysis electronic rehabilitation system to help people who suffer from of it neuropathic disease, causing the affected person to be unable to control their own facial muscle movements, since the facial nerve injures the cranial nerves producing facial paralysis. The system starts from muscle contraction by electrostimulation, improving circulation through low frequencies and reactions of dead tissues by applying these electrical impulses, which are applied prior to detecting the state of the muscles in an area of the face with the electromyogram The signal generated by the electrostimulator is given in the form of a monophasic square wave with modulated amplitude to generate the electrical pulses, in addition both the pulse range and the frequency are between 1 to 100 Hz and the coupling phase with which the current is exerted. output is less than 10 mA in order to conserve the amperage that the human body supports. This method of electrical stimulation meets the needs of operation both in time and frequency in the rehabilitation process. The system allows entering time, frequency and pulse data which can be controlled mathematically, omitting all kinds of noise or alteration in the output signals. What contributes to the improvement of the health of patients with facial injuries by presenting itself within the reach of every health center since it is economical, which makes it replaceable with any type of existing machines on the market. To verify the operation and reliability of the system, it was applied to patients at the Bendiciones Rehabilitation Center, where favorable results were obtained.
