Item Sistema electrónico de monitoreo y control para la prevención de heladas en cultivos de mora, utilizando la Arquitectura IoT.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Electrónica y Comunicaciones, 2023-03) Arias Solis, Jaime Luis; Benalcázar Palacios, FreddyIn this thesis project, an electronic monitoring and control system for frost prevention in blackberry crops was developed using IoT architecture to mitigate the real-time effects caused by frost, thanks to sensors for relative humidity, soil moisture, ambient temperature, and solar radiation that allow monitoring the climatic conditions of the crops and with this data, the control system can act in a timely manner avoiding damage to the plots if necessary. The design of the system includes stages of detection, communication, user interface, control, and actuator; in each stage, easily acquired and easy-to-maintain electronic devices were used, allowing the development of a reliable system with correct operation and low cost. The system was developed using WiFi technology for its range, data transmission and reception, and for being a technology present in most homes. To obtain information on environmental variables, the detection stage includes a humidity and temperature sensor for the measurement of soil moisture. All data is captured by the ESP32s and sent to a Google Cloud application server, which was developed on a Red Hat 8 Enterprise operating system that contains a LAMP stack that allows us to store, manage, and visualize the data sent by the system in real-time. Lastly, the system sends alerts through WhatsApp. The system continuously monitors the climatic conditions of the crop, and upon detecting a temperature drop below 4°C and low humidity, the control system takes action, consisting of a sprinkler irrigation system that simulates rain, allowing control of the ambient temperature and humidity, and at the same time.Item Sistema electrónico de localización y monitorización para el seguimiento de turistas en el volcán Chimborazo.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Andinists are always at risk of accidents, when such incidents occur at high altitudes or in remote areas, search and rescue operations are not always successful. It presents some difficulty in locating tourists on the Chimborazo volcano because there’s no precedent for the implementation of some kind of immediate location system and data monitoring. Consequently, in the present titling project, an electronic system for the location and monitoring of tourists in the Chimborazo volcano is implemented. To achieve this objective, a low-cost electronic kit was developed in order to track tourists using modules and digital sensors, as well as an emergency system in case of possible accidents. The collected information is transmitted to a server which will be hosted in cloud hosting, allowing remote monitoring through a web interface. Carrera de Ingeniería en Electrónica y Comunicaciones, 2021-09) Peñaloza Leguisamo, Alexis Geovanny; Salazar Logroño, Franklin WilfridoDue to the high cost of buying accessories for the control of machinery in the industry, the necessary knowledge is essential to be able to solve this type of problems for the wellness of any company. The main objective of this research project is the creation of a control system for the teleoperation of the Kuka Youbot robot with the use of free hardware and software because the current applications with the robot are mostly with previously programmed sequences, limiting a continuous and independent use in real time if required, inside the project the design of an electronic circuit is explained which was created in EasyEDA with the use of the ESP32WROOM32 microcontroller, which is a module focused on a wide variety of applications with its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless communication, taking advantage of the fact that this microcontroller can be programmed with a variety of languages, it was used to create a wireless communication with the Kuka Youbot using the TCP protocol and the use of sockets at each end. To receive the information from the remote control, a node was created with the ability to receive data through the TCP / IP protocol and continuously publish messages to the robot node with the respective topic according to the needs of the operator. The system was created and tested with a real Kuka Youbot robot and another inside the Gazebo simulator with an Ubuntu 16.04 operating system and ROS Kinetic. This system to control the Kuka Youbot directly benefits the research area of the Technical University of Ambato, as well as its students and teachers by delivering a PCB circuit with a license open to modifications, it also makes a great contribution to the understanding of the robotics.Item Sistema electrónico portable de monitoreo continuo de señales cardiacas mediante la tecnología wearables(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería en Electrónica y Comunicaciones, 2018) Naranjo Moncayo, Daniel Alejandro; Córdova Córdova, Edgar PatricioEl presente proyecto muestra el diseño de una prenda usable para la adquisición de signos cardíacos en tiempo real mediante el uso de amplificadores de instrumentación, los signos obtenidos anteriormente pueden transmitirse de forma inalámbrica mediante la tecnología WIFI que proporciona el módulo NODEMCU. El proceso de tratamiento y visualización de los signos cardíacos se realiza mediante una página web cuyo servidor se encuentra alojado en una Raspberry Pi3, permitiendo observar claramente las ondas P, Q, R, S, T y U que dan forma al examen de Electrocardiografía (ECG), de esta manera se pretende dar una solución eficaz y menos compleja para realizar este tipo de procedimientos médicos. Este sistema ofrece comodidad y movilidad a los pacientes y doctores al momento de realizar un electrocardiograma ya sea en el interior del hospital como en el hogar.Item Sistema de radiocomunicación para los Centros de Control del Parque Nacional Llanganates(Universidad técnica de Ambato. Carrera Ingeniería Electrónica y Comunicaciones, 2017-09) Sevilla Sánchez, Daniela Cristina; Brito Moncayo, Geovanni DaniloEl presente proyecto ha sido aplicado a un área protegida en la región andina del Ecuador, el Parque Nacional Llanganates, lugar emblemático que acoge gran biodiversidad y misterio. Mediante el diseño de un sistema de comunicaciones íntegro se proyecta establecer una conexión eficiente que integre los distintos puntos del parque a través de una herramienta de control y vigilancia, para beneficio principal del Ministerio del Ambiente y del Sistema Nacional de Áreas Protegidas. El trabajo de investigación recoge la información necesaria que permite establecer sistema de radiocomunicaciones, haciendo uso de enlaces de microondas de 5.8 GHz y sistema de comunicación de dos vías VHF que abarcan los sitios más vulnerables del parque. La ubicación de los sitios para los repetidores han sido seleccionados de acuerdo a la altura, facilidades de acceso y sectores de importancia para la cobertura; las estaciones base fueron escogidas de acuerdo a la demanda requerida de los centros de control existentes. Las condiciones topográficas existentes en el sector han dificultado una comunicación integral a cada lugar del Parque, sin embargo, se han cubierto los espacios de mayor afluencia turística y por lo tanto mayor requerimiento de vigilancia en los recorridos de los guarda-parques. El presente estudio ha establecido la mejor opción que permita la instauración de un instrumento para la protección de zonas representativas del Ecuador y resguardar así la vida en todos sus ámbitos, mediante una comunicación efectiva para la pronta toma de decisiones en situaciones de emergencia. ABSTRACT This project has been applied to a protected area in the Andean region of Ecuador, the Llanganates National Park, emblematic place that welcomes great biodiversity and mystery. Through the design of an integrated communications system, it is planned to establish an efficient connection that integrates the different points of the park through a control and monitoring tool, for the main benefit of the Ministry of the Environment and the National System of Protected Areas. The research provides the necessary information to establish the radiocommunication system covering the most vulnerable sites in the park, using 5.8GHz microwave link and a two ways communication VHF. The location of the sites for the repeaters have been selected according to the height, access facilities and sectors of importance for the coverage; the base stations were chosen according to the demand demanded of the existing control centers. The demanding topographic conditions of the sector have made it difficult to communicate extensively to each place of the Park, however, the most important areas of tourist influx have been covered, and therefore a greater vigilance requirement on the park ranger's routes. This study has established the best option that allows the establishment of an instrument for the protection of representative areas of Ecuador and thus safeguard life in all areas, through effective communication for early decision making in emergency situations.
