Mg.This research project is I developed on the theme "Art Therapy in motor development in children with Down Syndrome five years of age in the Heart of Mary Foundation of Pelileo" had as its overall objective to establish how it influences Art Therapy motor development in children with Down Syndrome five years of age in the Heart of Mary of Pelileo Foundation, and as specific objectives: to assess the level of motor development in children with Down syndrome, identifying What techniques are used in art therapy for the development of skills and abilities in children 5 years old with Down syndrome. We proceeded to conduct an evaluation through Scale Nelson Ortiz applied to children to observe gross motor development and fine motor, in order to meet the goal one development and then implemented with children Art therapy and techniques to meet the target two overall goal, performing a post-test with the scale of Nelson Ortiz to observe the results. The research project was carried out in the Foundation Heart of Mary of Pelileo in direct contact with children and with the direct collaboration of the mothers.
