The furniture sector of the parish of Huambaló in the Pelileo city is one of the most important due to the number of companies and workshops that make up this segment, and the number of direct and indirect jobs it generates; this is why day by day we look for ways to be more competitive locally and nationally. For this reason, the present document has gathered information on the existing processes at a general level as in the production area in a specific way in shape to bring about improvements in activities and production times, in order to increase labor performance. Based on the information, it is noted that there is a lack of training and use of technology, which leads to generate a bottleneck in certain activities, and empiricism is one of the daily practices that impede efficient development in organizations. With a focus on process management the proposal proposed for the sector is based on three axes; continuous improvement, use of technology and training, applying it partially in a company of the sector through the model PHVA was able to demonstrate that efficiency and productivity is raised by considering the factors before Mentioned.
