Mg.Objetives: Determinate the relationship between impulsivity, procrastination an academic performance in university students, detect the predominant level of impulsivity, identify the relationship between procrastination and academic performance and define impulsivity according to gender. Materials and methods: This study is quantitative approach with a descriptive and cross-sectional correlation scope, the Barratt Impulsivity Scale (BIS 11) and the Academic Procrastination Scale (APS) were applied and I used grade point average to 43 fourth and seventh semester students in the present academic cycle of clinical psychology career of Technical University of Ambato, with an age range between 19 to 25 years who were selected by inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: Impulsivity, with the highest data at the medium level is cognitive, followed by motor and unplanned with similar results.
