(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2024-09-09) Rovalino Peñafiel, Lizbeth Estefanía; Rodríguez Pérez, Mayra Lucía
Attachment styles are relatively long-lasting emotional bonds between an individual and one or more people who are emotionally important to him or her. Family functioning, on the other hand, refers to how problems are resolved within the family environment without compromising the satisfaction of the needs of its members. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between attachment styles and family functioning in adolescents. The research had a quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional approach, with a sample made up of 90 adolescents (56.6% men; 43.4% women), aged between 16 and 17 years. To measure the variables, the Internalized Relationship Models Attachment Questionnaire in its reduced version CAMIR-R and the Family Functioning Perception Questionnaire (FF-SIL) were used. The results indicated that the secure attachment style predominated (97%), the moderately functional level prevailed (56%), in addition, no significant differences were found in attachment according to sex. A statistically significant positive correlation was found between secure attachment and family functioning and a negative correlation between avoidant attachment and family functioning.

Estilos parentales y apego en estudiantes universitarios
(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2024-03-01) Lalaleo López, Johanna Narcisa; Rodríguez Pérez, Mayra Lucía Psi. Cl. Mg.
Introduction: Parental neglect has been a representation of abuse that has been increasing and that in turn has brought serious consequences on those who have experienced it, projecting into adulthood difficulties in relating to others, externalizing emotions and showing affection or vulnerability. Objective: Determine the relationship between the subscales of parenting styles and attachment dimensions of university students. Methods: A non-experimental quantitative cross-sectional study with a descriptive-correlational design was carried out with a non-probabilistic sample of 389 university students. Results: The results revealed a moderate positive correlation between the security dimension and the affect and dialogue subscales. Likewise, it was found that in university students the predominant type of attachment is the preoccupied one and the predominant parental style is the authoritative one. Conclusions: The participants perceive that the more affection and dialogue there is on the part of their parents, the more secure their interpersonal relationships will be. Likewise, the majority identify a parenting style balanced between obligations and rights, as well as a concerned bond in their interaction with their peers, characterized by the desire for closeness and at the same time independence

Cl. Mg, Lizbeth Carolina
Risky eating behavior, as well as eating behavior disorders, have increased significantly in recent years, reinforcing the question about their etiology, whose answer could be found in personal, social or family factors, among which is included the attachment that is described as the bond formed from the established relationships from birth that allows the regulation of emotions and the learning of behaviors from childhood. The objective of this study was to know the relationship between the type of attachment and the presence of risky eating behaviors. For this, a non-experimental, correlational design methodology was used, with a quantitative and cross section approach. The evaluation instruments used were the CaMir-R Attachment Questionnaire and the Brief Risky Eating Behavior Questionnaire (CBCAR). The sample consisted of 145 adolescents between 13 and 19 years old. The results show a positive correlation level between the variables studied, and a high prevalence level in women stands out.

(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2020-10-01) Calle Altamirano, María Zulay; Gaibor Gonzalez, Ismael Álvaro Ps. Cl. Mg.
The main objective of the present investigation was to relate the types of attachment with infidelity in young adults, using psychological tests such as CAMIR is in charge of evaluating the types of adult attachment and the Multidimensional Infidelity Inventory that evaluates infidelity, having a sample of 169 students, 52 men and 117 women between 18 to 25 years old who were selected under inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results show that 54 students present childhood trauma associated with the type of disorganized attachment, this being the highest, while the lowest score is with 11 students in the security that is of the secure attachment type, also family concern and selfsufficiency. With a grudge against parents with the same score of 11 students, they belong to the avoidant insecure attachment type. The multidimensional inventory of infidelity consists of four sub-scales, where it was found that the most prevalent unfaithful behavior is emotional desire with 136 students, while in the sub-scale of reasons for infidelity, 97 students were found where the motivation to be unfaithful is the dissatisfaction of the primary relationship, in addition it was evidenced that on the sub-scale of belief of infidelity 106 students believe that they would be unfaithful out of love for another person, while in the last sub-scale of consequence of infidelity 159 students see infidelity as negative within the couple relationship. The method used was the Pearson Correlation test processed in the SPSS, discovering that there is no correlation between the CAMIR and any of the dimensions of the multidimensional inventory of infidelity, thus concluding that the type of attachment formed with the closest caregiver did not is related to infidelity.

(Universdidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2020-03-01) Acosta Guerrero, Irene Jazmina; Lara Salazar, Cristina MarielaPs. Inf. Mg.
The adolescence is considered as one of the evolutive stages of the human being, with more emphasis on the psychological aspect due to the development in personality which mostly depends on the paternal bonds growth: therefore the objective of this academic project is to determine the relation between parental bonds and impulsiveness in adolescents, due to the high occurrence of the latter in this age group. This investigation design presents a correlation with a quantitative methodology, cross-sectional and field study as well. There were 72 adolescents selected for the study, around the age of 16, coming from a private high school in the city of Ambato – Ecuador, the teenagers were chosen using inclusion criteria. The mechanisms used were the Parental Bonding Instrument (B.P.I) and the Barratt impulsiveness scale (BIS-11). Thereupon by using the statistical software “Statical Package For The Social Sciences (SPSS)” it was concluded that based on the results the parental bond coming from the father has statistical correlation with the levels of impulsiveness due to the independent elements of this parental bond, by contrast, it was determined that there is no significant association between the parental bond of the mother and the impulsiveness. Besides, it´s been identified that the parental bond type known as “affectionless control” is the most dominant in the mother and father figure, whereas the mid-level impulsiveness is the one that showed most frequency.

“El vínculo temprano y su relación en el desarrollo de depresión perinatal en mujeres embarazadas”
(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2019-01-01) Zambonino Jácome, Stalin Rodrigo; Lara Salazar, Cristina Mariela Ps. Inf. Mg.
Objectives: To identify the relationship between the Early Link and the development of Perinatal Depression in pregnant women, and to examine the influence of factors associated with the development of this. Material and Methods: The study was of a cross-correlation type with a sample of 60 pregnant patients who attended the Obstetrics offices of the Salcedo Type B Health Center during the month of October and who were from the 16th week of gestation. The Parental Linkage Instrument (PBI) was applied to evaluate the type of bond the pregnant woman had during her childhood, as well as the Edinburgh Perinatal Depression Scale (EPDS) to evaluate depressive symptomatology and the Beck II Depression Inventory (BDI-II) to measure its severity. An information sheet was also used to identify personal data, inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: 93.3% of pregnant patients have a type of insecure bond, whether resistant, disorganized or avoidant, and according to the data obtained, 41.3% of pregnant women had depression. It was not found that age, marital status and number of children influenced the frequency of depression. Conclusions: Through Pearson's test, there was a significant positive bilateral correlation of 0.01 among the variables, and that the presence of depression in the pregnant women studied was very high, attributing these results to difficulties of affective regulation on the part of their parents, especially the mother figure during childhood. Therefore, special attention must be paid to the development of pregnancy, in order to reach early diagnoses and apply timely treatments that promote, prevent and restore the bond in the mother-child dyad.

“El vínculo socio afectivo y el desarrollo del lenguaje de niños de 2 a 3 años del centro de desarrollo infantil universitario”
(Estimulación Temprana, 2018-10-01) Angulo Chiliquinga, Elizeth Soraya.; Valencia Medina, Paola Silvana. Psc. Cl.
The research focuses on determining how the affective bond influences the language development of children attending the University Child Development Center of the Technical University of Ambato located on the campus of Huachi, the population that was taken into account in this research were infants from 2 to 3 years old. As evaluation instruments, the scale of assessment of the quality of the relationships of children aged between two and a half years and seven years with their parents or carers of Jorge Barudy and Maryorie Dantagnan was applied, which allows us to know the type of attachment that predominates between the child and their caregiver and the Language was evaluated with the Battelle Test that allows us to know the weak, strong and normal points of the child. Among the results obtained, it was known that 100% of the population has a secure attachment with their caregiver; in language 86% and 92% if they placed on the normal score according to the development of receptive and expressive language respectively. This indicates that the socio affective bond formed between the child and his caregiver allows him to form solid foundations in a healthy and trusting environment to express himself and communicate with adults and their peers.
