Methodology: A descriptive literature review was carried out using the PRISMA method for article classification. Information was retrieved from databases such as Scielo, Virtual Health Library, WHO, Google Scholar, and PubMed, using keywords related to occupational risks in the surgical environment. A total of 25 articles were selected from 45 reviewed, focusing on publications from the past four years in Spanish and English. Results: The reviewed studiesindicate hat surgical nurses are highly exposed to biological, ergonomic, and psychosocial risks, which significantly impact their health. Conclusions: It is suggested that occupational health policies and biosafety strategies be strengthened to protect surgical nurses from the many threats they face in their work environment.

The research had a quantitative approach, nonexperimental design, correlational level, cross section, in a sample of 100 health professionals aged between 26 and 49 years. The selection of the participants was through a non-probability sampling for convenience. The OIT-WHO Occupational Stress Scale and the Barrat Impulsiveness Scale (BIS-11) were used in the Spanish version. (Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2022-09-01) Carrera Fernández, Evelyn Estefanía; Rodríguez Pérez, Mayra Lucía, Psi. Cl. Mg.
The present research project was carried out with the objective of identifying the levels of work stress and its relationship with personality traits in teachers. The methodology applied was based on a quantitative, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional approach, working with a population sample of 68 teachers (27 men and 41 women) belonging to the Salcedo Educational Unit. The ILO-WHO Work Stress Scale was used for work stress and the Big Five Questionnaire (BFQ), based on the Big Five model, was used for personality traits. The analysis of the results was carried out using Spearman's Rho test, which determined that work stress has a low negative correlation with the Mental Openness dimension, therefore, it is observed that the lower the level of stress, the higher the intellectual curiosity, the greater the description of new experiences and creativity in teachers. In relation to work stress, it was found that low levels predominate in teachers with 82.4%. Regarding personality, it is evident that the factor that stands out among teachers was Emotional Stability with a mean score of 58.10. With respect to sex, it was found that women have a higher level of emotional stability than men, with a statistically significant difference between the two, concluding that women are more secure, strong, balanced and have a greater capacity to deal with conflicts than men.

This research work was carried out to evaluate the ergonomics during online work in the faculty of health science in ambato. A documentary study took part through a qualitative approach and a transversal focus in which the teaching and administrative staff participated online. Furthermore, scientific papers allowed to investigate and support the research. 14 professors who met the criteria of inclusion participated. However, other professors did not participate due to lack of interest and tight work schedules. As soon as the population was identified, 4 instruments were revised to be applied in the research. Such instruments were the work load questionnaire, work interest test, work stress test by oit-oms, rose method and the standardized nordic questionnaire which were applied online through google forms. Results were transcribed into spss, a software for statistical analysis. Results demonstrated inmediate impact in the work place indicating a visible performmace of 42,9% equally and an urgent performance of 14,3%. The correlation indicator shows a significance of (p=0,00) with regard to muscular and skeletal pain, work load and work stress.

(Universdidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Estimulación Temprana, 2021-10-01) Cárdenas Oviedo, Alexandra Abigail; Velastegui Hernández, Diana Catalina Psi. Cl.
The objective of this research is to identify work stress and its influence on family relationships in the employees of the company EMAPA-A, this topic is of great relevance since, in many of the workplaces, they do not comply with the measures of good coexistence and harmony between workers and supervisors, in addition, the current pandemic situation that is being experienced worldwide was taken into account. In the present work there were a total of 465 officials of the institution, between administrative and operational, it was considered necessary to apply a sampling technique in order to work with a small population in this way, and the inclusion criteria were also used. and exclusion proposed in the thesis, finally working with 136 participants. To carry out this research the "Questionnaire on work stress of the ILO- WHO" and the "Family Functioning Questionnaire (FF-SIL)" were applied. This research presents a descriptive design where the correlational analysis was applied through the SPSS statistical package, since it seeks to determine the degree of relationship between study variables and the influence it has on the population. That is, how work stress influences family relationships. The results obtained in the present study showed that there is no significant correlation between work stress and family functionality, so it can be deduced that the virtual modality that is currently being used and the little overcrowding in the institution allows officials to maintain a balanced level of stress, so prevention of work stress is recommended and in this way there is harmony between work-family.
