(Universdidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Centro de posgrados, 2021-09-01) Salazar Naranjo, Carlos Sebastian Lic.; Ibarra Torres Ing. Mg., Oscar Fernando
The development of attention is essential in the child, so that many cognitive processes are enhanced in order to improve learning; School life is decisive in 5-year-old children because it is the stage where they obtain the most education. If there is an attention deficit, this stage will be affected; We have brain areas involved in this higher process, so this innovative work seeks to improve attentional processes. The objective of this work is to determine how the application of the buildable musical device influences the development of attention in 5-year-old children. This research is of an analytical type and prospective design with a quantitative approach; An attention evaluation test was applied where it was determined that the male gender has more alterations in attention than the female gender and its relationship with the residence gave the result that children in rural areas have more attention problems than those in urban areas, Based on these results, the buildable musical device is created in order to create activities focused on enhancing the attentional processes xv in 30 5-year-old children from the La Inmaculada Píllaro educational center, who were participants in this innovation project. This work could not extend its application of the device, nor the taking of the post-test, due to the health emergency that the world is facing with SARS-COV 2 and the 1074 mandate issued by the President of the Republic Lic. Lenin Moreno.

In this research project entitled "MUSIC THERAPY IN THE PSYCHOMOTRIC DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN OF 4 YEARS", we will find important information on the use of music therapy and the benefits they have in the evolutionary development of children, since music It has been used since ancient times to prevent diseases and as a treatment for them in the case of people with Alzheimer's disease, children who have characteristics of the different syndromes and also in people with normal development since through music they Get a balance of body, soul and emotions. In early childhood the use of music therapy influences the psychomotor, sensorimotor, and intellectual and language development, since during the birth the first neuronal pruning occurs and the neurons adapt to the acquisition of new learning especially to adapt in the outside world, upon receiving the sound stimuli, children acquire learning and knowledge that will serve them in the future. During psychomotor development, early stimulation is important as it allows and helps the child to evolve in a better way the skills and abilities that correspond to the age of the evolutionary development that he presents, therefore if there is a delay in the acquisition of an item motor, a treatment plan must be created according to the needs of the child and be able to develop it until the acquisition of said item is achieved.
