    This research is based on the benefits of the Pilates Method as an option for Chronic Low Back Pain, based on six principles which are: concentration, control, centralization, breathing, precision and fluidity of movement During the application of the Pilates method and serves to harmonize the mental attention of our body with the movement (Prisons & Cos, 2009), these fundamental principles allowed to determine the effects of the Pilates Method in its Medium Level in the treatment of Chronic Low Back Pain obtaining a Increased flexibility in the lumbar area as well as increased muscular endurance, which combined with the body stability provides outstanding results taking into account that it is a non-invasive treatment and that likewise does not need the application of external agents for its correct attainment Being a method that needs supervision during the realization but once understood can be done autonomously reducing significant costs in the treatment of this pathology with emphasis on the importance of body stability.

    The distention of lower-back muscles is one of the highly frequent pains today, not only in the working world as it is in the daily life, the most important cause is lift weights in wrong positions or because those weights are so high that our muscles cannot support, so investigate about this pain is great interest since at least once in our lives we experimented back pains, inquiring about these causes and effects will help us to trait and also prevent them. Therefore this research aims to study the effectiveness of the Pilates method in the physiotherapy intervention of the lower-back pain, as this method consists in a new treatment option, determining that physiotherapy is not only based on pre- stablished treatments but in innovative and personalized treatments. To demonstrate this questioning that is our propose, the Oswestry disability index will help us to the initial evaluation and in the evaluation after applying the Pilates method in distention of lower- back muscles.
