The Value Chain is a tool that allows identifying those activities that generate value both to the internal and external customer, nowadays the market conditions require establishing new productivity methods in the face of the existing challenges, that is why the chocolate company must be prepared to face changes in the productive system. The main objective is to analyze the value chain and productivity in the company "Molinos Marbella", in the city of Ambato, this study is oriented in a critical propositive paradigm, field methodology with direct observation using the observation card as a tool; The research is quantitative and qualitative because it is aimed at checking a hypothesis for the solution of the problem. The owner and collaborators of the company have provided important information for the development of the investigation; In order to conclude the level of knowledge and experience that they have, they promote business development every day with a positive vision for the future and open to new changes or transformation of the productive matrix both in the sector and at the national level.
