    Análisis del módulo de elasticidad estático del hormigón en base a su resistencia a la compresión, fabricado con materiales de las minas: Comanche Uno y Comanche Dos, ubicadas en el cantón Palora, provincia de Morona Santiago

    This experimental work began with a visual inspection and sampling of fine and coarse aggregates from the "Comanche Uno" and "Comanche Dos" mines, continuing with the process, a reduction to test size was carried out. Once the samples were obtained, the characterization tests of the aggregates began in the laboratory with the aim of knowing their physical-mechanical properties and with the data obtained designing the concrete mixtures, using the method of optimum density for compressive strength. at 28 days of age at 21 and 24 MPa. To continue with the process, cylindrical specimens were made, simultaneously with this process tests were carried out on fresh concrete, as well as: determination of settlement, density, performance and air content. Tests were also carried out on the concrete in the hardened state, such as the determination of the compressive strength at 7, 14, 21 and 28 days of age and the test for the determination of the static elasticity modulus, which is carried out at 28 days old. The static modulus of elasticity was determined experimentally in accordance with ASTM C469 and theoretically in accordance with ACI 318. To conclude with the experimental work, the analysis and comparison of results was carried out.

    The present experimental work was elaborated according to what is stated in the different regulations in force. As a main aspect, the experimental, static modulus of elasticity was determined, the process of which is illustrated in ASTM C469 and theoretical, using the equations proposed in ACI 318, for the concrete manufactured with aggregates from the Ramírez and Las Peñas mines, for subsequent comparison. and analysis. To achieve this, a process was passed that began with a visual inspection and sampling, in accordance with what is specified in the NTE INEN 695 standard, later, the reduction to test size was carried out as indicated by NTE INEN 2566; The tests of the aggregates were started with the intention of knowing their properties and anticipating their behavior in structural concrete, complying with the provisions of NTE INEN 872; Likewise, the real density of the cement was determined based on what was stated in NTE INEN 156. Finally, the design of mixtures was carried out, using the maximum density method, for compressive strengths of 21 and 28 Mpa at 28 days of age. Once the final dosages were obtained, cylindrical specimens were made, fulfilling the process in accordance with NTE INEN 3124. While simultaneously taking concrete tests in fresh conditions as well as sampling; according to NTE INEN 1763, slump determination in accordance with NTE INEN 1578, and density, performance, air content, following the provisions of NTE INEN 1579. The respective tests were also carried out on the concrete in the hardened condition, obtaining its compressive strengths for the ages of 7, 14, 21 and 28 days, according with what was specified in NTE INEN 1573.
