Item Diseño de las obras de drenaje de arte mayores y menores desde el km 0+000 hasta el km 4+500 de la vía que une el sector de Calamaca con la represa de Chiquiurco, Ambato, Tungurahua(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2024-08) Ramos Abril, Cristian Lorgio; Aldás Sánchez, Milton RodrigoThe project is located in the parish of San Fernando, having its origin in the sector of Calamaca and its destination in the reservoir of Chiquiurco, because it is an empirical way presents the lack of drainage works of major and minor art. For this reason, the project was divided into three stages. The first consisted of a topographic survey and hydrological studies, obtaining data from the meteorological station of the Chiquiurco reservoir from 2013 to 2024, in order to determine the maximum flow rates. The second was based on proposing the locations and dimensions of the surface and crown ditch, culverts and bridges, with the objective of complying with the parameters established by the hydraulic design standards for road works. Finally, the third was based on determining the items and unit prices of the project. The result of the maximum intensity of the site was 47.51 mm/h, so the maximum flows in the area were subsequently calculated, obtaining a total of 17 culverts for the entire road with a dimension of 500 mm in diameter, while for the surface ditch a triangular shape was proposed with a dimension of 0.63 m at the base and 0.20 m in height. For the crown gutter, a rectangular shape was proposed with a dimension of 0.30 m base and 0.20 m height.Item Estudio definitivo para el mejoramiento de la vía Cuatro Esquinas – Nitiluisa, parroquia Santiago de Calpi, cantón Riobamba, provincia de Chimborazo(2022-09) Caiza Freire, Dennys Oswaldo; Acosta Lozada, Rodrigo IvanThe project is carried out in agreement with the GAD rural parish of Santiago de Calpi and the Technical University of Ambato. For the design of this project, international standards such as AASHTO, SUCS and ASTM were used: AASHTO, SUCS and ASTM, and in national standards, were: MOP 2003, NEVI 2012, MOP -001-f 2002 and INEN 2011, based on these, the objectives to be addressed were carried out, such as: traffic count, topographic survey, soil study, geometric design of the road, hydraulic design, pavement design, signaling and budget. The road has a length of 4404.36 meters; according to the traffic count and its respective analysis, a fourth order road was determined, where a total width of 9.20 meters was necessary, including lane width, curbs and shoulders. The topographic study consists of a 40-meter strip width starting from the road axis; for the soil study, borings were made every 500 meters starting from the 0+500.00 km abscissa. The geometric design included: horizontal and vertical design, cross sections, mass diagram and cut and fill volumes. The improvement of this road is a fundamental part for the development of the parish of Santiago de Calpi, since it allows improving livestock, agriculture, tourism and communication between neighboring sectors, as well as providing safety and comfort for road users.Item Diseño geométrico de la alternativa vial Shuyo-Pinllopata en el tramo KM 20+000- 24+000 perteneciente a los cantones Pujili y Pangua de la provincia de Cotopaxi(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2020) Freire Ruiz, Cristhian Dario; Acosta Lozada, Rodrigo IvánThis document describes the technical process that must be followed in order to propose an appropriate geometric proposal for a road in a mountainous area. It is described step by step what is the methodology to follow the rules that were taken into account and the different variations and considerations that should be taken when performing a pre-feasible process. The first step is to carry out a current topographic survey of the area to be able to have details of contours and dimensions that will be considered in the geometric design of the road, the process that was taken in the present work was carried out with a Drone and taking photographs which are processed to obtain ortho referenced geo photos. In addition, the field work also includes the vehicle count in order to determine the TPDA that is the most important value to consider the different types of roads that the MTOP standard puts us in consideration, and the characteristics that each of them has in terms of speeds spokes and cant. Obtained the field data is processed to the office work, with the topography already digitized we can obtain a proposal of alignment that is considered as the horizontal alignment, which will also contain widths and corners in the curves respecting minimum radii and design speeds, of The same way having the same considerations for vertical and transverse design. Once verified that the design values meet the standard, we can quantify the cut and fill volumes in order to obtain a referential budget that would be an important value to approve or disapprove the pre-feasibility of the project.Item Las condiciones de la vía El Capricho- Ishcayacu, perteneciente al cantón Arosemena Tola, provincia de Napo y su incidencia en el desarrollo socio económico de los habitantes(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2014) Supe Supe, Roberto CarlosEl presente trabajo investigativo está enrumbado a realizar el diseño geométrico de la vía El Capricho- Ishcayacu, perteneciente al cantón Arosemena Tola, Provincia de Napo y su incidencia en el desarrollo socio económico de los habitantes. Las comunidades indicadas no cuentan actualmente con una vía de acceso en óptimas condiciones, por lo que resulta necesario realizar el diseño geométrico de la vía y de la capa de rodadura. Para iniciar con el proyecto de investigación se realiza el reconocimiento del sector; luego del levantamiento topográfico se extraen muestras a lo largo de la vía para realizar los ensayos en los laboratorios de mecánica de suelos pertenecientes a la Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Subsiguientemente se procede con el diseño geométrico horizontal y vertical rigiéndose a las normas que detalla el MTOP, diseño estructural de la capa de rodadura, diseño de las obras de arte como cunetas y alcantarillas, elaboración del Presupuesto Referencial, Cronograma Valorado de Trabajos y Análisis de Precios Unitarios; los mismos que una vez concluidos y expuestos en este presente estudio vial fueron entregados al Gobierno Provincial de Napo como un aporte de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato hacia la sociedad, entidad que podrá ejecutar el proyecto e incrementar el desarrollo socio económico de los habitantes
