Item Estudio definitivo para el mejoramiento de la vía Cuatro Esquinas – Nitiluisa, parroquia Santiago de Calpi, cantón Riobamba, provincia de Chimborazo(2022-09) Caiza Freire, Dennys Oswaldo; Acosta Lozada, Rodrigo IvanThe project is carried out in agreement with the GAD rural parish of Santiago de Calpi and the Technical University of Ambato. For the design of this project, international standards such as AASHTO, SUCS and ASTM were used: AASHTO, SUCS and ASTM, and in national standards, were: MOP 2003, NEVI 2012, MOP -001-f 2002 and INEN 2011, based on these, the objectives to be addressed were carried out, such as: traffic count, topographic survey, soil study, geometric design of the road, hydraulic design, pavement design, signaling and budget. The road has a length of 4404.36 meters; according to the traffic count and its respective analysis, a fourth order road was determined, where a total width of 9.20 meters was necessary, including lane width, curbs and shoulders. The topographic study consists of a 40-meter strip width starting from the road axis; for the soil study, borings were made every 500 meters starting from the 0+500.00 km abscissa. The geometric design included: horizontal and vertical design, cross sections, mass diagram and cut and fill volumes. The improvement of this road is a fundamental part for the development of the parish of Santiago de Calpi, since it allows improving livestock, agriculture, tourism and communication between neighboring sectors, as well as providing safety and comfort for road users. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2020-10) Torres Bonilla, Erick Kenneth; Acosta Lozada, Rodrigo IvánThe main objective of this project is to carry out the geometric design of the road, to achieve socioeconomic development and improve the quality of life of the population of the sector. The project began with the inspection of the sector, as well as the topographic survey, being of great help the total station to obtain the geographical coordinates, elevation of the land, location of houses, sewers, bridges and various constructions surrounding the road . The properties and quality of the existing soil in the sector were identified, a vehicle count was carried out manually on a neighboring road because the existing traffic on the road is very scarce due to the conditions in which it is located, this contributed to the design geometry and the calculation of the pavement structure. Once the project is finished, it will be delivered to the Decentralized Autonomous Government of Moraspungo as a contribution from the Technical University of Ambato, for the community, who will be able to use it in the optimal way to carry out this work.Item Diseño geométrico de la alternativa vial Shuyo – Pinllopata en el tramo km 24+000 – 28+000 perteneciente a los cantones Pujilí y Pangua de la provincia de Cotopaxi(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2020-08) Silva Coque, Esteban Fernando; Moreira Cedeño, Fricson LutgardoThis project was carried out through preliminary studies since there is no design study on this road, topographic tools and equipment such as the RTK (Real Time Kinematic) equipment were used to obtain the contours of the existing road every 500 meters. In addition, a drone was used that flies over said route for imaging (orthophoto), video and obtaining the topographic strip. A fundamental part of this study was the field survey, which consists of a length of 4000 meters, is currently a ballast road. Subsequently, the topographic survey of the road and the design were carried out horizontally, vertically and transversely according to the regulations dictated by the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works of Ecuador. Then the Annual Average Daily Traffic (TPDA) was determined to know the level of service of the road which is Class IV in the estimated design period of 20 years, the calculation of cut volume of 213680.64 m3 was also achieved Due to the topography of the project and above all meet the requirements for this type of project. Finally, a referential budget was prepared for the construction of this road with optimum performance. Everything is described in this document both in tables, figures and plans duly detailed. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2020) Sani Allauca, Diego Fernando; Bayas Altamirano, Myriam MarisolThe present Technical Project began on March 23, 2019, with an impromptu meeting in the Shuyo Chico sector, of the Pujilí canton, province of Cotopaxi, where a first recognition of the study area was made in order to generate an appropriate methodology for the development of the project. On Monday, June 24 to Sunday, June 30, 2019, the personnel were installed in the Shuyo Chico sector (Km 2 + 400), moving once a day to the Km 9 + 150 of the road from 7:00 am with The purpose of carrying out the vehicle census for 12 hours in 15- minute intervals according to the geometric design regulations issued by the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works. Once the type of road was projected with the traffic study carried out, on Friday, September 27, on the field of study, the installation of cairns and stakes was made every 1000 m in the assigned section of the current road, including geo-referenced points with help of an RTK team on these elements. On October 25, 2019 the photogrammetry was carried out by means of topographic drones from Km 8 + 000 to Km 12 + 000 obtained orthophotographs with an amplitude of approximately 100 m from the axis of the current road on each side. Once the field data was collected, the office work was carried out, including the topographic plan with a 1: 2500 scale, geometric design plans in plan, vertical and transverse at a 1: 1000 scale, and the completion of the written work of the technical project .Item Diseño geométrico de la alternativa vial Shuyo – Pinllopata en el tramo km 16 + 000 – 20 + 000 perteneciente a los cantones Pujilí y Pangua de la provincia de Cotopaxi(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2020) Yanzapanta Yanzapanta, Andrés Sebastián; Moreira Cedeño, Fricson LutgardoThis technical project has as main objetive to the design of four kilometers stretch of road located between the abscissas 16+000 – 20 + 000 of the existing roads that connects Shuyo and Pinllopata, belonging to the Cotopaxi province; directly influencing in the development of these populations and the quality of life of their habitants. This work begins by making a direct observation of the study site in order to determine the current conditions of the road and terrain , then the topographic study with wich we carry out the horizontal, vertical and transversal design of the road with their respective sections of road, volumes of soil movements, ditches and important points where the road will pass adjusting to the new design. In addition, the traffic study (TPDA) was carried out in a manual counting station located in the rural town Chisla with a duration of 7 days for a period of 12 consecutive hours, through which it was possible to determine the number oh vehicles that traveled through this route and the projected traffic in the future with the new route by means of the AASHTO method and the thirty hour. Finally, the cut and fill volume will be calculated, with which a unit price analysis and a work schedule will be carried out. Once this study is completed, it will be delivered to the Angamarca Parish GAD as a contribution from the Universidad Técnica de Ambato to the community so that the construction of the road infrastructure can be carried out, or used in the way it deems appropriate.
