Item Diseño y construcción de una máquina roscadora para tubería pvc de diferentes diámetros con puertos intercambiables(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2024-08) Jerez Morales, Manuel Andrés; López Villacis, Gonzalo EduardoThe projection of making a PVC pipe threading machine was born after seeking to reduce the effort in performing manual threading within the different industries, the objectivity of the problem is focused on that, avoiding efforts in manual threading and avoiding that the worker gets tired by the process of manual threading, it would be used in other activities within the industries. In the development of the project, the following processes were carried out: acquisition, machining, assembly and assembly, among them were made purchases of existing materials in the market with catalog verification, within the machining manufacturing processes were carried out such as: turning, milling, grinding and welding; in the assembly, height dimensions, concentricity and adjustments between the different components of the machine in its surface finish were verified; the steps were not complicated, generating ease in its maintenance and verification of components inside the machine. Likewise, the machine was tested and proved to be effective, leading to the fact that it works with the purpose for which it was manufactured it works and machines different diameters so that it can be taken to more studies in the future to reduce efforts in the industry related to piping. As a result, we have a successful PVC pipe threading machine for different diameters with interchangeable ports, in addition, we looked for an innovative and efficient alternative where high precision in the threading process and robustness of the machine were reflected.Item Diseño del sistema de alcantarillado sanitario y pluvial para mejorar la calidad de vida de los barrios La Merced y San Luis de la parroquia La Matriz, cantón Patate, provincia de Tungurahua(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2022-09) Chicaiza Valencia, Karla Leticia; Paredes Ramos, Katherine Carolina; Frías Torres, Alex XavierDue to the fact that the La Merced and San Luis neighborhoods belonging to the Patate canton do not have one of the main basic services such as sanitary and storm sewerage and despite being tourist and residential sectors, the study and design of the same is presented. A topographic survey was carried out using Total Station and photogrammetry in an area of 68.17 ha, data that was processed in software and through orthophoto the future population necessary for the design of flows was obtained. For the sanitary sewer design, which is 6.73 km long, a 200mm PVC pipe was obtained that will transport a design flow of 5.58 l/s, while for the 6.36 km storm sewer, 250, 300, 364, 400 PVC pipes were used. , 500, 600 and 700mm that will transport a design flow of 594.78 l/s. In addition, the wastewater treatment plant was grouped, which consists of a roughing channel, screen, Imhoff tank, sludge drying bed and two subsurface flow wetlands. Finally, a reference budget and unit price analysis were obtained with their respective technical specifications.Item Diseño del alcantarillado sanitario del caserío Chontilla Parte Alta, parroquia LLigua, cantón Baños de Agua Santa, provincia de Tungurahua(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2022-09) Moreno Torres, Frank Isaac; Guevara Robalino, Jorge JavierThis technical project is focused on providing a viable solution to the problem that the Chontilla hamlet currently has due to the lack of basic sewerage services, with the aim of considerably reducing the pollution generated by the poor disposal of wastewater. For this project, a topographic survey of the village was carried out with the total station, then the data obtained were transferred to the Civil 3D taking into account the current national and international regulations that will apply to the entire sanitary sewerage network, in addition, the GAD Lligua Parish was consulted on the number of inhabitants of the sector in order to have more accurate data. The sanitary sewerage network has a total length of 4746.34 m, with a nominal diameter of 220 mm, for which PVC pipe will be used to transport a design sanitary flow of 4,841 Lt/seg. At the conclusion of the design, the respective construction plans were obtained, as well as the project's reference budget, which amounts to UDS 410,000.27, which does not include VAT, as this will have to be taken into account at the time of executing the project.Item Diseño del sistema de agua potable para la comunidad de Maikiuants, cantón Limón Indanza, provincia de Morona Santiago(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2022-09) Brito Villa, José Alex; Castro Solórzano, Fidel AlbertoDue to the problem of malnutrition and poor health in the people of the Maikiuants community, caused by the lack of basic water service. In this technical project, the design of the drinking water system was carried out based on the results by INEN, corresponding to the chapter on the Drinking Water Supply System. With their methods of analysis and data collection, such as direct observation and reconnaissance of the terrain, they allowed to determine the number of assistants corresponding to 200 people; Through a topographic survey, the land was defined, such as the total area of the project, place of treatment, layout of the conduction line and distribution. The physical-chemical and microbiological characteristics of the water were determined with a laboratory analysis, resulting in it being suitable for human consumption, which was made for a disinfection process to eliminate pathogenic microorganisms through the use of chlorine. With the conduction and distribution network was designed with pipes and accessories made of PVC material, with the treatment based on the use of the Clorid L-30 equipment for chlorine, adding to this a slow sand filter to control dirty water. The storage tank was designed in reinforced concrete with a capacity of 20 cubic meters. Finally, the unit price analysis was carried out to determine the reference budget.Item Diseño del sistema de alcantarillado del barrio Huagrahuasi de la parroquia San José de Poaló, cantón Santiago de Píllaro, provincia de Tungurahua(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2022-03) Chicaiza Yanchaguano, Bryan Daniel; Guevara Robalino, Jorge JavierThis technical sewerage project will be of great help and importance to guarantee the final process of sewage, guaranteeing in a safe way, the transportation and evacuation of wastewater from the Huagrahuasi neighborhood, causing the least possible damage to the environment. In this project a topographic survey was carried out using equipment that provides great accuracy, by means of a SOKKIA SET 550RX Total Station, in addition to this, it was necessary to carry out a census in the sector to know the number of inhabitants for which this project was designed, covering with PVC pipe a length of 2436.18 meters and with a flow design of 4.37 liters / sec. The treatment plant to be used in the project consists of: a grate, a sand trap, a septic tank, a drying bed and an upflow anaerobic filter (FAFA), which together will prevent the passage of pollutants present in the wastewater from the sector. The standardization of this project required the following processes: topographic survey, demographic study, statistical calculations, an environmental impact study, unit price analysis (APUS), a reference budget, an estimated work schedule, technical specifications, sanitary sewer design plans, and wastewater treatment plant plans.Item Estudio y diseño de un sistema de alcantarillado sanitario con su respectiva planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales en el sector de Hualcanga Chico zona I del cantón Quero(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2021-01) Romo López, Andrés Vinicio; Morales Fiallos, Fabián RodrigoThe fundamental purpose of the technical project is performing the study and design of a sanitary sewerage system that covers the own needs of population that integrate the Hualcanga Chico Zone 1 community with the purpose that improve life quality, to optimize the performance of the system a treatment plant was implanted, with the objective that minimizing the contamination of the residual water without any treaty. For the elaboration of this study was used a drone for did the respective topographic survey of the area ,the same that took an average height of one hundred ten meters during its execution, storing a total of 1496 loose images at the end of topographic survey, the purpose of obtaining the final product, the ortho photo and the contour line to export them to the civil cad and continue with the sewer design process, for the design of the treatment plant based on the theorical study of the residual water in an area similar and implement the elements that supply the demand for organic weight and not oversize it At the end of the design the network covers most homes belonging to the area, with a pipe length in horizontal projection of 3489 meters and a design flow of 3.705 lt/s, the elements that make up the planta are: screening, sand trap, septic tank, biological filter, and sludge drying, the total inversion is $191944.95.Item Implementación de una máquina acampanadora para minimizar tiempos de producción en la elaboración de juntas en tubería pvc de la empresa Holviplas S.A(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica. Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2010) Carrillo Rosero, Carlos Mauricio; Caiza López, Magaly ElizabethLas innovaciones realizadas en las uniones de tubería PVC ha conseguido desarrollar la unión por sellado elastomérico, el cual consiste básicamente en un acampanado especial de los tubos, donde se incorpora un empaque metálico revestido de hule, esto permite el acople entre tubos sin necesidad de pegamento para PVC. Las máquinas que posee HOLVIPLAS S.A. no abastecen la producción de estas uniones, lo que ha generado retrasos en la producción, haciendo que el cliente tenga que esperar más días de lo estipulado. Para solucionar este problema la empresa ha considerado implementar máquinas capaces de realizar la unión de sellado elastomérico, pero la adquisición de esta significa una inversión de 150.00 dólares, por lo cual, se optó por repotenciar una máquina acampanadora que ya cumplió su vida útil; es decir, realizar la recuperación de vida de los componentes del equipo y por consecuencia la prolongación de grandes beneficios para la institución. Para realizar la conversión de esta máquina se empleó principalmente un PLC marca Koyo y una pantalla táctil Crimson, entre otros componentes; además de ello se realiza un rediseño de la máquina. Mediante la pantalla táctil se realiza el diseño de los iconos que comandarán el funcionamiento; estos iconos representan los elementos que constituyen la máquina acampanadora, además el operador tendrá la facilidad de ingresar los tiempos de trabajo para el calentamiento, traslado, conformado y enfriamiento de la tubería.
