Item Motivación en entornos virtuales de aprendizaje y el rendimiento académico en los estudiantes.(2024-08) Chuchico Vaca, Carla Jadyra; Díaz Quichimbo, Danilo MarceloEn la actualidad, los Entornos Virtuales de Aprendizaje (EVA) continúan siendo una de las tendencias más destacadas en el ámbito educativo, beneficiando a todos los niveles y ganando especial prominencia en las instituciones educativas. En este sentido, los aspectos motivacionales de los estudiantes, desempeñan un papel crucial en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, debido a que la motivación está relacionada estrechamente con el rendimiento académico. Por lo tanto, el objetivo de esta investigación es determinar la relación de la motivación en entornos virtuales de aprendizaje y el rendimiento académico en los estudiantes de tercero de bachillerato. Se contó con la participación de 123 estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Primero de Abril de la Ciudad de la Latacunga, de los cuales el 70.7% fueron mujeres y el 29.3% hombres. Este estudio fue de tipo correlacional con un enfoque cuantitativo de corte transversal. La indagación se fundamentó en la teoría de la autoeficacia y orientación a metas; para la obtención de datos se utilizó instrumentos estructurados y validados en contextos internacionales, la encuesta de 41 ítems fue enviada por Google Forms, la cual abarcó dimensiones relacionadas a las variables de estudio. Los datos fueron sometidos a un análisis estadístico, es así como se determinó que la motivación en entornos virtuales de aprendizaje y el rendimiento académico tienen una asociación positiva débil, además se concluyó que el 39.02% de los estudiantes presentan un nivel bajo de motivación y por otro lado, el rendimiento académico se analizó mediante una escala valorativa que dio como resultado que el 30.08% de los estudiantes de tercero de bachillerato presentan un nivel bajo de rendimiento, el 40.65% un nivel medio y el 29.27% nivel alto. En base a los resultados encontrados, se sugiere que se realicen futuras investigaciones con otros instrumentos de evaluación con miras a la obtención de datos que contrasten los resultados y hallazgos de este estudio investigativo.Item La evaluación formativa en el proceso de formación académica del estudiante de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Católica de Cuenca(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Reference is also made to the importance of issuing qualitative criteria that motivate students to improve their academic performance. It promotes the application of formative evaluation processes that promote fellowship, group work, problem solving around a content or situation, characterizing this process as vital in the projection of students in the professional field of Health, that a future will be part of multidisciplinary teams of the medical field The formative evaluation is applied in the Faculty of Medicine of the Catholic University of Cuenca by the teachers in benefit of the students, based on the achievement of the learning results of the profile of career egress.Item La lectura crítica en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de séptimo año de la Escuela de Educación Básica Macará(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Dirección de Posgrado, 2017-06) Albán Chico, Paulina Azucena; Mera Constante, Medardo AlfonsoThe present research work makes an analysis on the critical reading and its impact on the academic performance of the seventh year students of the Macará School, Ambato, Tungurahua Province. Once the problem has been detected, applying documentary and bibliographic research, the theoretical framework is built to properly base the research variables, based on information gathered from books, brochures, magazines, and the internet. Established the methodology of the field research are developed the appropriate instruments for the collection and subsequent processing of the information that allows the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the variables investigated, proceeding to analyze the data obtained statistically, being able to establish that if there is an incidence of critical reading in student achievement. Relevant conclusions and recommendations are defined. Based on the research revealed a proposal to solve the problem investigated in the application of pedagogical strategies for the development of critical reading in students, under the guidance of trained teachers. They are ten strategies designed with the constructivist vision, and collaborative and interactive learning, as tools to develop the performance criteria skills for seventh year students of basic education.Item Las TIC’S y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de escolaridad inconclusa en la Unidad Educativa Sultana del Oriente de la ciudad de Macas(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Dirección de Posgrado, 2017) Frías Barros, Favio Vidal; Salazar Mera, Javier VinicioThis research work about Tics and academic performance of Educational Unit Sultana del Oriente’s unfinished schooling students from Macas city, allowed to detect many causes which generates a low academic performance in students, in addition, through the results obtained when applying the survey showed that both teachers and students do not frequently handle TIC’s in their learning process. This study includes a bibliographical review of similar investigations in specialized libraries and in digital repositories, as theoretical support; A statistical analysis of the values found in the surveys were carried out and the hypothesis of the study was verified through a Chi square test. From the research findings, a proposal is prepared in order to solve the research problem.Item La adaptación curricular inclusiva en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes con discapacidad de la Unidad Educativa Santo Domingo de los Colorados(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Dirección de Posgrado, 2017) Molina Cusme, Jorge Julio; Nieto Viteri, Paulina AlexandraSanto Domingo de los Colorados high school is a medium-level public-type institution whose mission is to educate youth through the use of technology and the permanent practice of values. This is sustained by an adequate and continuous training of human resources in an organic and dynamic context to reach educational excellence which is framed by the principles of equality, equity, interculturality and inclusion. Thus, the issue of the application of inclusive curricular adaptation in students with disabilities of the Santo Domingo de los Colorados high school, arises in such a way that the academic performance of students with disabilities improves significantly and that teachers have the possibility to create differentiated work for this group of students. The overall objective was to determine the impact of inclusive curricular adaptation on the academic performance of students with disabilities at the Santo Domingo de los Colorados Educational Unit. The methodology that was used to carry out this research was of quantitative nature. The technique used to collect information was a survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire. The questionnaires were given to a sample of 23 students with disabilities and 112 teachers. The results obtained were tabulated in Excel tables. The validity of the alternative hypothesis was tested t of Student which verified that the inclusive curricular adaptation affects the academic performance of students with disabilities of the Santo Domingo de los Colorados high school. For this reason it is suggested that the teachers of the Santo Domingo de los Colorados Educational Unit implement the use of curricular adaptations to give the differentiated attention that students with disabilities are entitled to receive.Item Las drogas ilícitas y su relación con el rendimiento académico en los adolescentes de la Fundación Jóvenes para el futuro(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Dirección de Posgrado, 2017-03) Canchignia Bonifaz, Catalina Alexandra; Indacochea Mendoza, Luis RenéThe present research was made in “Fundación Jóvenes para el Futuro” and it is aimed to study teenagers´ behavior under the influence of illicit drugs. Through the objectives, this investigation gathers information that allows us to analyze the types of behavior teens have and the relation that is produced with their academic performance. The causes and effects of this study problem can be established through a critical analysis in which the factors are the disinterest of parents towards their children and the disconnection of responsibilities that have deteriorated the emotional and cognitive development. Another factor of study is the school desertion that exists in the schools given that these teenagers cannot find a significant improvement in their situation so they prefer to leave their studies. In light to this situation, a question comes up about the possible needed conditions to make process in the academic development of the students who take part in this current problem. For this reason, surveys were applied which collected important data for the proposal. One of this approaches reinforces teen learners’ esteem and confidence, as well as, the importance of redoubling efforts to prevent the use of illicit drugs so that teenagers can know the consequences of the use of these substances. As a proposal to this problem in the schools, a complete teaching material set was designed which has a guide and direct application workshops to students, teachers and parents, in such a way, that the training was in an integral form and this allows the decrease of the number of school dropout.Item Los criterios de evaluación y la calificación cualitativa del nivel inicial de la escuela de educación básica Federación Deportiva de Cotopaxi(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, 2016) Guanotuña Pastuña, María Elvira; López Miller, Zoila EsperanzaThis research work was carried out in order to inquire about "The evaluation criteria and qualitative rating of the initial level. The primary basis of this research was to show that arise evaluation criteria within qualitative rating of the initial level for sublevels 1 and 2. This research work was to determine the incidence of the evaluation criteria in qualitative rating of the initial level school basic education "Sports Federation Cotopaxi" parish El Carmen, canton La Mana, Cotopaxi province. Which was relevant to the application of a survey to teachers for students observation and observation sheet containing the same research topic they addressed to questions. The results showed that in the field concerning the qualitative assessment and criteria, there is difficulty in teachers to raise criteria for qualitative evaluation to make a true assessment to infants and their development, and that teachers do not use assessment tools that values participation, cooperation and creativity of the student, as an evaluation is maintained at the work done in worksheets leaving aside the true ability of the student should be the very essence of the evaluation.Item Eficacia de las tutorías académicas en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la Salud de la Universidad Tecnológica Indoamérica(2016) Labre Tarco, Verónica ElizabethIn the present work on solving a professional problem an analysis of the effectiveness of academic tutoring in academic performance of students of the Faculty of Human Sciences and Health is performed, for which a description of the process is carried out tutoring in the institution through reports and reports of guardians of the respective training project, in addition to students who are underperforming based on reports submitted by teachers identified. It is directed to make the process of teaching support, enhancing academic performance, promoting self-assessment, as a way to address from the kind of academic education of values and contribute to the comprehensive development of the students. The independent variable associated with the process of educational accompaniment, integrates descriptors that allow their better understanding in the context of the research: type structure, design and design, focused on the way that will develop the teachers as part of the training process within teaching and learning. The dependent variable is related to pedagogical reinforcement, which is made up of elements such as the academic performance of students, achievement and academic outcomes in educational processes and classroom.Item Incidencia de los hábitos de estudio en el rendimiento académico de matemáticas en los estudiantes de Primer Año de Bachillerato del Instituto Superior Guayaquil año lectivo 2009 - 2010(2011) Caicedo Barragán, Bayardo Homero; Poveda Proaño, GuillermoEl bajo rendimiento académico motiva a los estudiantes a crear y desarrollar hábitos de estudio mediante la aplicación de una guía metodológica, que permita al estudiante realizar sus actividades pedagógicas dentro y fuera del aula de clase, alcanzando resultados óptimos y por ende la consecución de los objetivos académicos. Logrando fomentar en ellos el lugar, el orden, la planificación de estudio, la actitud general y la forma de estudiar que contribuyan a alcanzar resultados satisfactorios en la actividad intelectual que desarrolla cada estudiante. La guía metodológica para generar hábitos de estudio, constituye una herramienta fundamental que debe ser conocida y aplicada por docentes, estudiantes y padres de familia.
