Propagación vegetativa de café robusta (Coffea canephora) utilizando dos hormonas enraizantes en diferentes concentraciones en el cantón Bucay
(2017) Aucancela Guamán, David; Yánez, Wilfrido
The research work was carried out with the objective of vegetatively propagating vegetatively robust coffee (Coffea canephora) using rooting hormones, in Bucay Canton, in the Province of Guayas, Matilde Esther's enclosure in the nursery of Mr. Wilmer Geographical Palaces: 2nd 11'26.5 ¨ Latitude South and 79º 05' 38.4¨ West longitude, with an altitude of 463 msnm. The random block design was applied with 4 treatments and 6 replicates. In addition, Tukey significance tests were performed at 5% for the significant treatments, where the following results were obtained: the weight of the root mass At 45 days (g) there is statistical difference being the treatment H2D2 (IBA hormone with 800 mg dose) the best with an average of 7.67 g and the lowest result was the treatment H1D1 (hormone 1 with 400 mg dose) with An average of 4.83 g. For the variable root volume at 45 days, if there is statistical significance where H2D2 treatment (hormone IBA with 800 mg dose) presents the best result with an average of 3.83 cc and treatment H1D1 (hormone 1 with a dose of 400 mg) The lowest average presented with 2.00 cc. In the variable Root length if statistical significance is presented being the best treatment H2D2 with an average 13.48 cm and the treatment H1D1 the lowest average presented with 6.80 cm, this happened at 45 days of propagation. The variable weight of the aerial part of the coffee plant if there is statistical significance being the treatment H2D2 which presented the best result with an average of 2.75 g and the treatment H1D1 the lowest average presented with 0.88 g. For the leaf area variable in the coffee crop, if there is significance, the treatment that presented the best result was H2D2 with an average of 27.03 cm2 and the treatment with the lowest result was H1D1 with a mean of 8.70 cm2. The results show that the best hormone IBA and the 800 mg dose for coffee rooting by means of cuttings
