EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The musculoskeletal disorders provoked by repetitive movements, inadequate positions and raising loads in the work concern not only the health of the worker causing diverse types of occupational diseases, but also to the company diminishing his productivity. The investigation takes as an aim the identification of musculoskeletal injuries and his relation with the labor positions of the metalmechanic workers in Latacunga. By means of the Northern Questionnaire applied to a population of 50 workers, there bring musculoskeletal discomfort, the same ones that were corroborated on having found painful point or points I cock in the physical exploration of the clinical history, the above mentioned pathologies, especially those of vertebral column, were caused by the bad positions that the workwers adopts on having realized his labors, In the analysis of working stations by the method “OWAS” (Ovako Working Analysis System) there are demostrated clearly the overwork those who are submitted by bad designs of the workplaces, many activities demand that the column generates angulations or the arms work over the shoulders what penalizes results of the study doing that most of working station studied (28 of 41) have a high risk of reasons musculoskeletal affectations. The investigation also I identify, by means of FRIMAT's and CHAMOUX methods, the physical load in the workers, concluding that the cardiac frequency rises more in the collaborators who manipulate generating tools of heat, not only for the source but also for the workwear used.

Riesgo disergonómico y su incidencia en los trastornos musculoesqueléticos en los trabajadores del área administrativa de la empresa REPREMARVA CIA. LTDA.
(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Dirección de Posgrado. Maestría en Seguridad e Higiene Industrial y Ambiental, 2017) Montaguano Rugel, Franklin Humberto; Rivera Escobar, Mario Fernando
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Musculoskeletal disorders caused by exposure to dysergonomic risks such as forced postures, overexertion, repetitive movements, inappropriate furniture and even the working environment are very common in office work or administrative areas. Therefore, the investigation is directed to the personnel of the administrative area of the company REPREMARVA CIA. LTDA., It analyzes the disergonomic risks to which they are exposed and their incidence in the musculoskeletal disorders that can present and being able to take measures of control. To determine that workers are exposed to these risks, the IPER matrix was applied under the parameters of the INSHT for the Evaluation of Occupational Risks, the results obtained indicate that the personnel can suffer musculoskeletal disorders due to the exposure to disergonomic risks. The identified disergonomic risks were applied nationally and internationally to be able to measure and evaluate them as: sedentary OWAS (forced postures), RULA (overexertion), Job Strain Index (repetitive movements), R.M. 375 2008 TR (furniture) and in working environment was measured (noise lighting and thermal comfort), with certified equipment. As a proposal to minimize the disergonomic risks in the administrative area, it is developed: SGSI-PL-01 Program of prevention of disergonomic risk containing engineering and administrative control measures

The research is developed in the shoes factory GUSMAR, which analyzes how physical workload influences the musculoskeletal disorders to 9 workers in the cutting, assembly and finishing areas. This research determines the physical load of workers in the study areas and also identifies and evaluates the risk of suffering musculoskeletal conditions to finally establish the relationship between them. The evaluation of the physical workload is performed for both dynamic and static loads, in the first case it is performed by means of heart rate measurement, and by the FRIMAT, CHAMOUX criterion established the existence of overloading of work, the static physical load is established by analyzing the risks of forced postures (REBA Method) and repetitive movements (OCRA Checklist Method). Preliminary identification of musculoskeletal disorders is performed with the application of the Nordic questionnaire to subsequently quantify the risk of suffering musculoskeletal conditions through the use of the simple model for the comprehensive assessment of the risk of musculoskeletal injuries (MODSI) The jobs where there is over physical load are: manual cutting 1, manual cutting 2 and preparation of plants-drawn from lasts; The remaining jobs present medium risk, with the exception of cutting preparation that presents low risk. The majority of workers feel discomfort in different parts of the body, being the most recurrent affections in arms and back. The risk of musculoskeletal disorders are in a range of high to medium for all jobs. Relating the incidences of overload and the level of risk of musculoskeletal disorders in the same jobs determines that the physical workload influences the manifestation of musculoskeletal complaints.
