Item Estudio de tiempos en el área de post cosecha para la finca florícola GENOVA FARMS(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2022-03) Almeida Almieda, Jimmy Ramiro; López Arboleda, Jéssica PaolaIn this investigation project a time study in a productive process at “GENOVA FARMS “is developed , it is engaged in the processing and exportation of roses. The study purpose is to determine times involved in the process, all of those allowing us to analyze and get and early identification of the critical time facts, which are likely to improve by the implementation of strategies. The article is developed in several phases which include: determination of the study element, data collection through field visits, and analysis of the information with the use of methods and time study tools. The analysis of the information determines the standard time of the process in 5.45 hours per cycle, a production capacity of 120 bunches per day and labor costs of 1,167 dollars per bunche processed. The use of “ Multiple Activities Diagram to Data Analysis “ tool, allow us to visualize in a graphic way process development during the work day, showing a clearly disorganization which implies a retard along the process and increase production time and costs. Additionally the Multiple Activities Diagram to Data Analysis make it possible to get a measurement of the basic time in the work day, leisure time, and time dedicated to other activities, it also allows the bottleneck identification. With all of the lacks and critical facts detected, two suggested improvements were presented, one of these pretend to maintain the production capacity and also reduce the man- hours, the other one ensure to increase the production capacity but maintaining the man-hours. All of these are constructed, conditioned by the flexibility and the logic process development using Multiple Activities Diagram.
